MaKin Vegan Sushi

Every time I go here the food is absolutely delicious, the service is quick and kind, and the sushi rolls are simply exquisite.

You can't go wrong here. Everything is delicious and there are sooo many options. It's also a great date spot.

MAK-KIN has mastered the art of serving sushi favorites but vegan, which is no little feat. The taste, texture, colors, and quality are excellent and the presentation is such that it’s an experience. Worth the drive from LA proper.

🌶️ Jalapeño Roll: This roll has a great kick! The “crab”, avocado, and pickled jalapeños mix perfectly with the creamy cream cheese. A must-try! 🍚 Spicy Tofu Rice Cakes: The crispy rice cakes are topped with spicy tofu, avocado, and jalapeño for a perfect balance of creamy and spicy. 🌱Overall: Both dishes are full of flavor and spice. The atmosphere was great, service was amazing, all the sushi was to die for (got two rolls and they came with 10 huge pieces each), and the mochi was amazing (yuzu mint + passionfruit and they come with whipped cream).

The only thing I'd say is we got the chicken katsu curry and it there something left to be desired (wasn't spicy, and sauce was a bit too thick).

Would easily go back, better than the vast majority of regular sushi places. Their presentation is top notch and selection is expansive. Can't go wrong with any of the rolls, seriously.

Highly recommend the vegan orange chicken, the texture and flavor is perfect. The jalapeño tempura roll and the baked lobster roll are mind blowing. Also, the bun buns slap. I never liked sushi before I was vegan but I love everything they make here.

Amazing vegan Sushi restaurant in LA recommended by friends. Food was phenomenal, service was amazing and atmosphere was fantastic.

If I could give them six stars I would!!!

So refreshing to have a full vegan Italian menu to choose from with no limitations on which dishes you need to choose to ensure they are fully vegan.

We will definitely return if in LA again.

I had the most amazing experience eating at MaKin sushi. The textures, taste, visual aspect and combinations of elements is just perfect !!! I live in Brazil but when I'm back in Los Angeles i will definitely be back to eat again at MaKin.

I want to tell everyone about this place and at the same time I don’t because I love their small space and vibe I don’t want it over run! This is our favorite spot for date night, with or without the kids. So good!
