Don’t get to Alameda very often, but was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled across Alameda Brewing. Nice, spacious indoor seating area. The brewery stresses community and employs a nautical theme throughout the brewery. Restrooms were clean and the staff helpful.

Great local spot with friendly staff, good beers (I'm an IPA guy and find all of their offerings very solid, but their non IPA beers are also quite good). Not too loud inside and good table space. Can get outside food from a number of locations easily. Generally a great place to unwind and hang out.

The beers across the board here are top notch and the service one ups that! Patrick is awesome! He provided great service and had the perfect amount of sociability. I can't recommend this place enough! One of the brewers in the back even came out and told me a new beer that they were working on and I can't wait to come back and try it!

Truck driver for Alameda Brewing is aggressive and almost hit my car then tailgated with my newborn and toddler inside near the CVS in Orinda. Work on your driver’s skills.

Although I'm only writing a review now, I've been coming to Alameda Brewing with friends for the past two years, and am overdue to support this fantastic spot.
Coming here again this past Saturday, the brewery was super lively with tons of people inside and out, but we were still able to get up to the bar quickly to order some brews.
I tried their Michelada and Island Lords IPA this time, having enjoyed many of their other beers during previous visits.
The Michelada was spicy and had a thick layer of Tajin around the edges, which was fantastic as I had plenty of Tajin to add saltiness/spice to each sip. The Island Lords was super fruity, dry, and crisp, with a nice balance of bitterness.
Although they don't serve food, it is nice they allow you to bring in outside food so my group ordered food from Monkey King which they brought straight over to us in the brewery.
Love Alameda Brewing for it's chill vibes and tasty brews! Will be back soon!
Had 2 dark beers and one pale ale. Across the spot I ordered cheese sticks and fries. All where very good and pleasant!!

Alameda Island Brewery is a great place to hang out with friends or socialize. They have a big dining area with lots of space and one big screen TV to watch the game. The dining area was nice and open due to all the big open windows. They also have a large selection of draft beers to choose from which I like. They brew their own beer as well which I have yet to try. They have some flights they can offer. I did try a sampler of a unique beer that was 5% called 'Sarap' meaning good in Tagalog. It was on draft. It's a hint of calamansi in it. It was actually good! I will have to get that again next time. The guy at the counter was cool and friendly.Looks like they share the space with the Fikscue Craft BBQ next door as long as you buy their beers. Which we did! Prices are decent as well. Not a bad place to hang out, and just drink and chill. I know I will be back here again!

They do not respect their employees and recently fired the head brewer and general manager for just speaking up for the staff. Please Boycott AIBC there are plenty of other owners around worthy of your money.
