Came here for the superbowl and it was so fun. Great set up with a projector and sound. Good crowd but not overwhelming.Great beers on tap. Love their selection of sours. It's a large space with lots of seating. Will come back for beers on the patio in the sunshine sometime! The food truck had yummy food, too. Can't remember which place it was, but the fried chicken was so good.

Brought some friends from out of town to watch the game here since it was one of our fave places, didn't know it would be so disappointing. One of the managers denied my friend's out of state ID saying it was fake. It was definitely not a fake ID, he's not underage and his dad was even there with us. He also had a military dependent id (expired, but still verified his identity) and she still denied him any alcohol. Such a frustrating and embarrassing experience. Thanks alot :)

They have a large seating area both indoor and outdoor. Pet friendly space and tasty beers. A fun place to enjoy drinks and grab some snacks from the food trucks or from the cafe next door, Firebrand. You can order a pizza and bring it over to enjoy.

I always have the best time when I come here, the beer is great and everyone is so friendly. Also great because it's friendly for large groups and dogs as well. I bought their stein the last time I was there and look forward to getting $10 refills in the future. Love Almanac!

Nice brewery. Came here early on a Sunday morning. Not many people were there yet. As lunchtime came, more people came through. Lots of tables for sitting and there's a food truck in the same area as seating. It's a chill spot to hang out with friends and grab a drink.

Beers are just Ok but it's a good family and friends hangout spot. Dog friendly and spacious indoor and outdoors. Parking is across the street in parking lot. You can bring your own food. No reservations. We came here on a rainy Saturday so everyone was indoors. Luckily we were table to snag two tables as we waited for spot to open up. We accidentally didn't check out with an open tab. They close tabs at the end of the night and charge a 20% gratuity. Good thing we only ordered 3 beers lol.

I love a good brewery, and Almanac doesn't disappoint. We came here right when they opened at noon, and there were already several people waiting. Almanac has a great outdoor space with a sandbox for kids, and the inside has the standard brewery/warehouse vibe. Lots of big tables and it is easy to meet 1 or 20 of your friends. As an added bonus, dogs are allowed! The menu is separated into styles of beer - dark, hoppy, light, etc. which makes it easy to pick your poison. The beer tenders are great and let you try a sip until you find the perfect brew. I had a pick-your-own flight of 4 hoppy and loved them all. My favorite was "Surfin' Rainbows," which is a West Coast-style IPA. If you don't drink or are doing dry January, Almanac has you covered. They have house-made hop waters and other non-alcoholic drinks. Family and dog-friendly! Stop by and try a beer or two next time you are in Alameda.

Great environment for dogs, pups allowed indoors! Beware there may also be kids, most parents are considerate and keep them outside. Really good beer, reasonable prices. It's a self-serve place so not much service outside of the bar. They started offering flights which is great!I go when there are food trucks. Spicy chicken and hoppy beer, a perfect mess.
