Best Thai food in the bay. Rain or shine we are there. At least once a week. Everyone is friendly and remember my kids and their picky order. Feels like going over to your aunty house for dinner

We came here for an afterwork dinner gathering with a group of 12, and made a reservation ahead of time.
When we arrived, we were seated quickly. We ordered a bunch of dishes, so I'll review the ones that I remember.
I had the Pad Se Ew, Pad Thai, Angel Wings, Spicy Wings, Tom Kha, and the BMV Ultimate Papaya Platter.
Pad Se Ew, the fried flat wide rice noodles with black soy sauce, broccoli, and eggs. I really liked the flavor, and the noodle texture was to my liking.
Pad Thai, the fried thin rice noodles with tamarind sauce, tofu, eggs, and bean sprouts. Unlike Pad Se Ew, this dish felt a bit mediocre, the flavor was pretty bland.
Both Angel Wings and Spicy Wings tasted great; the crunch and seasoning were spot on.
Tom Kha, a coconut soup with lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, and fresh mushrooms, chicken or shrimp. Really creamy and delicious.
The BMV Ultimate Papaya Platter came with papaya salad, pork rinds, noodles, cabbage, and sticky rice. You can choose up to 3 proteins and a type of papaya salad, like Thai or Lao. We had the Thai Papaya salad with 2 crispy pork and angel wings. The papaya salad was really fragrant and paired well with the crispy pork, which helped cleanse the palate. The crispy pork had a strong umami flavor, with the rich fattiness of the meat itself. You could smell the roasted meat and rendered fat. aroma.
Also, their Thai Iced Green Tea and Beerlao are worth a try!

Super noisy and packed-in, slow service, and obscenely large portions. But tasty and courteous.

The Khao Soy was amazing! So warm and homey. The chicken satay was dry, but the peanut sauce and the pickled onions and cucumber side was delicious. Only qualm is how LOUD the restaurant is. We felt like we had to shout in order to hear each other.

We arrived at 2:40, and they told us the kitchen was closed. This is not on their website.

The first time I came here was months ago for my cousins graduation. Food was sooooooo good I had to brag about it to my mom. So we decided to order take out! When it go home, the food was as amazing as the first time I tried it! OH MY GOODNESS EVERYTHING WAS DEVINE!!! Every dish has its own great flavor. If you haven’t been, this is a must go to restaurant. Staff here are all amazing and so nice! Parking is definitely not easy and if you come at 2nd half opening which is 5p, just know you have to wait a bit because the kitchen/ restaurant is just reopening. The restaurant itself is very warm and welcoming and nicely decorated.

Amazing Laotian restaurant. The food really is great and authentic, reminds me of when I went to Laos years ago. Definitely get the tapioca balls Sakoo they're a must. I recommend going when it's not busy as the acoustic of the place is not the best and gets really loud inside.

It's amazing how highly underrepresented Lao food is. Much of the Thai food that is trendy right now is Lao. So I order the Lao papaya salad, Beef Laab, spicy wings, Lao spring rolls and short ribs. Everything was fantastic and authentic. None of it was compromised for a western palette. Everything was delicious but the hero that really stuck out was the beef laab. It had the perfect combination of herbs and lime just with just the right amount of heat. I highly recommend this spot.

Truly incredible Laotian food at a reasonable price with great service. Recommend the pork belly and sakoo.
The recommendations are all true, the food here is delicate, flavorful and fresh. For Bay Area Asian foods, this place would be in my top 10.
