We love Burma! We moved it off town 10 years ago but every time we come back from a visit we come to Burma!! It's consistently delicious! And the staff are always super friendly! Happy Holidays Burma Superstar!!!
The portions are large and easily serve 2-4 adults The tea salad is terrific as is the lamb. Chicken curry and fried catfish disappointed . The small pitcher of Burma beer is perfect for two.
Food is consistent...the chicken with mint was good sized portion and very tasty. We did feel it was overall a bit salty especially the eggplant, but we might be sensitive.
We came here to celebrate a birthday and I reserved a table for 3 outdoor seating. The weather was perfect. Parking can sometimes be hard to find and I found a space about 3 blocks away near the Alameda High School, unmetered street parking! So plan in advance for parking time. We ordered food to share which was the famous delicious tea leaf salad & samusa soup lunch special, mango chicken and garlic noodles, coconut rice and string beans, all very delish. And we had enough food for my friends to take home, as there were 3 of us. Oh and the drinks we ordered were refreshing: cucumber with gin, ginger lemonade and Thai iced tea!
always great

Great service.
We sat outside, it was very nice until a truck drove by slowly with their music really loud. It would be nice if there is a noises level control on those street.
Food was good.

Anything with lamb is out of this world good. Some of the best Asian food I have ever eaten, it's almost not fair. 10/10

The hostess wanted us to sit at a communal table because she had other reservations coming. Then she made us wait for 15 minutes. To clarify, we were on time and both of us were there. The food has comically huge portions, and tastes good, but managed to feel expensive. Curry for two, one drink each, and an appetizer for $120. At the end of meal, they asked us to leave because they needed the table. There were 2 other open ones and no one waiting. Also, the table next to us had just one woman dining alone, and they took away the chair. I felt so embarrassed for her.
This place is fantastic! Huge menu packed with flavor.

Amazing service! So attentive! The food was delicious! The only problem for me was it was a hot day and the restaurant was too warm. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Good first experience with Burmese food. Chicken Samusa’s were nice crisp and hot, 4 moderate size portion, could easily be shared. I was recommended the Nan Gyi Dok as a common favorite. Big portion of food mixed tablesize that was well seasoned. It was a good portion of noodles with not as much chicken as I would’ve liked. This dish could easily feed two if you’re not a person who eats a lot or could fill a good and hungry person. If I had requested extra protein I could’ve split this into two meals. The weather was beautiful so enjoyed the outside dining which was largely empty and a pleasant surprise to enjoy. Overall very happy with the visit and would recommend if you enjoy southeastern Asia food

Inside is noisy but comfortable. Not much ambiance if you are looking for fancy or privacy Outdoor street seating is nicely done. Heatlamps available. Food was delish, and the best !!
