We visited Alameda in April to attend a celebration of life for a family member that we lost suddenly. Our family was in town from all over the country, and we found Cafe Jolie Petit near our hotel. They took such great care of us, fed us meals on three or four consecutive days, and we could not have asked for better service or food during an emotional time. Pastries (Koiugn Amann!), Monte Cristo, and the coffee bar were our favorites, but everything we had was delicious. We hope...
I love that the use "bite" size pieces of bread with Lox breakfast. Refreshing change to bagels you get in most places. Still don't get the deep-fried breakfast potatoes. I love the traditionally fried potatoes with onion, etc. Lavender latte was great again.
Nestled among the huge low slung buildings of Harbor Bay business park is a friendly comfortable open air cafe. The food is delicious, parking for bicycles and cars is easy and safe, and the service is excellent. They have great special events like a monthly French Market. Bon appetit!
