I never leave reviews, but we came here this morning with family from out of town and had the best time! Super cute, great food and service, not crowded, parking lot, and to top it all off - a live band!! Checked all the boxes and then some :) don’t let this one go Alameda!!

We’ve always been curious about this place but never really gave it a chance. We are so glad we did. The food was really good, the service, live music and great atmosphere. Sadly it was quite empty not making justice to what it offers. We’ll be back soon.

Thank you Jessica for great service . I was there for breakfast and the best omelette I've had in Alameda so far.. very creamy inside with melted creamy cheese inside, soft cooked egg omelette outside 😋

Overall, I would rate it 2/5 stars. Service was not timely, it seems they’re understaffed? My sandwich and fries were really good but my friends salad and crab cakes were not great. Salad had too much dressing on it.
I hope the restaurant takes this into account and instead lessens the amount of dressing, or pours it into a side dish so we can choose how much we pour onto the salad. Thanks!
I also ordered soup but it came out so late. We had already paid the bill by then and I had to ask for a to go container for it. Waiter was nice but seemed stressed :( My food was 4/5 but the service was very slow 2/5 and my friends food was 2/5.

This place is amazing for brunch. The food was delicious, many choices, with very generous portions. A fun variety of mimosas (definitely try the Sunrise). I will definitely be going back soon.

We have been going here since they opened and generally have had great experiences. I will say that if you go with a dog or just generally want to sit outside at this time of year, make absolutely certain that multiple waitstaff know that you are outside. Our most recent visit, we left without ever being served because we assumed that when we told one employee that we'd be eating outside, that they'd tell the wait staff. Moreover, because the band (which plays great music on weekends!) was set up in front of the door to the side patio, there was no easy way to get to the side patio, so we instead went to the front patio. Unfortunately, no one ever came out to take our order. An aberration to be sure, as we've otherwise had great service and good food - generous portions, and we're especially fond of their pancakes and burgers. Plus - the plates for dogs are great!

I’ve only tried the frozen yogurt here, and a few months ago, it would have been an easy 5 stars! The matcha soft serve was absolutely amazing—so good that I didn’t feel the need to trek all the way to Japantown for Matcha Cafe Maiko.
Unfortunately, my most recent visit left me disappointed. I ordered a simple cup of matcha soft serve, and the taste just wasn’t the same—it was far from the delicious treat I remembered. It’s disappointing to see such a noticeable decline in quality.
I really hope they can bring back the stellar matcha soft serve that made this place a standout!

I've been here three times since opening, all spaced months apart. I want to really like this place but the food often comes out bland or they get the order wrong (ie wife asks for no onions, server replies no problem or that there aren't any in the dish, it still comes back with onions OR they remove from my order). Service feels non existant during your stay. Was there during a lite day around 1pm with 4 wait staff on the floor and 7 tables, no refil on water or coffee until flagged down a few times. Food comes out fast, which is nice. Portions are large. I personally liked the salmon bennies.
