It's a bit too noisy. It could be because the day I went was Saturday. Everybody went to get dim sum. Fast service. A lot of variety. Courtesy, and there was a parking lot. However, it was small.

Don't go there, unless you want to see a fly inside your soup and the waiter then denies it's their fault.

My family was there for a celebration of life/post-funeral gathering following my aunt's passing. We went there because it was one of her favorite spots!
We did the typical banquet-style luncheon with several dishes. Everything we had was delicious, from the fried rice, honey-walnut shrimp, fish filet with veggies and goose feet! It sounds ridiculous, but it's somewhat of a delicacy. My Uncle Hall couldn't get enough so we sent him home with all those leftovers. They were busy and for obvious reasons
...their food is just straight good! Don't pass up on the chance to visit this spot!

The combination of pig intestine along with the frog may not sound appetizing, but from here it was to die for. It simply can not get better than it was here. It was so good, I would be willing to sacrifice my first born child, just for a fraction of something not even half as good. The experience is hard to describe , but I can try. It gave me the same experience in terms of dopamine, as when I first downloaded Truth Social, and followed our lord and savior Donald Trump (amen). I would get on my knees for more than just Jesus, just to hear someone eat it through a walkie talkie. It was truly spectacular.

Older decorated dim sum place. Above average dim sum but nothing different from other trees houses. Parking was challenging

This is my family's to go dim sum house in Alameda. The prices are right. The dim sum is rock solid. And the dumplings are huge and good. It is not fancy and most of the time, we really aren't into fancy. We just want it to be satisfying and it is. Service is good and typical for dim sum houses. Parking is easier than Oakland Chinatown and it is safer. It's a no Brainer for us.

Service was slow. They were very busy! Took a while to have someone come over to our table. Had to flag down wait staff just to get their attention. The food was ok. I had better. It took way too long to get service. Once we got the food, they never checked back with my party to see if we wanted another eles.

Went on a Tuesday at 1:30p and was greeted and sat immediately. The staff were welcoming, and service was very good. Lots of elderlies celebrating Lunar New Year and laughing up a good time. Ordered 6 dim sum items, and although it took some time to arrive, every dish arrived piping hot. The bean curd rolls were delicious, sesame balls were crunchy, and the dumplings were juicy, flavorable and sizable. Unfortunately, the pan fried turnip cake was a little soggy and the steamed dumplings (har gow and shrimp & spinach) stuck to the paper liner, causing the wrapper to tear and ingredients to fall out...not sure if they steamed them too long. They use thick style wrappers on their steamed dumplings should you have a preference; I prefer the thin style. Anyways, it's clear Chef Wok has a loyal following, and the prices are decent. As with most dim sum places, they do get busy on the weekends, so be prepared to stand in line or order ahead and pick up. All in all, if you have the craving, they will help with the fix!

My family dinner at Chef's Wok was yesterday evening. My brother and sister-in-law chose this restaurant for our Chinese New Year dinner. I lost count on how many courses were served. It must have been a 10 course meal. After dining at Agave, I was not sure if I had enough room to digest all that food. What a combo of meals - Mexican and Chinese - and this morning my stomach was a little queasy. Still, the food was great from both venues.

We planned a get together with 35 people. More people showed up than expected. -40 Our contact had pre-negotiated a flat rate (tax & tip included) for a fixed menu. Everyone paid cash on the spot. Service was okay. Apparently they needed to swap out one item for another. The food was fresh and tasty. I tried things I'd never tried before like a black sesame rollI would have preferred a menu that includes some vegetables, soup and less balls/dumplings.I presume such things are available, they just weren't included for our event.

Food was really good. Only one English speaking hostess, so hard to communicate. They forgot 1 ordered item.
You never can get a seat even you wait online. They will sit whoever they like or know. I get line and someone come after us get a seat (same small table that we wait). I went and ask the lady who do the sitting, she is nice but she don’t have the power to say a word. Just told me to ask the whoever sitting that group. I ask that lady manager, the one who sit that group. She just keep lied.DON’T go to this tea house.
