Enjoyed a smooth cab, the unique atmosphere within the production warehouse added to the overall experience. Scott provided thorough explanations, going above and beyond by recommending other fantastic wineries and delightful food options to explore in the East Bay.

Great wines and fun events

The reason for the 2 stars is food. They told us up front it would be food trucks (plural). They mentioned Mexican. Ok, they're not a restaurant, that makes sense. But when we got there for a family birthday celebration, there was ONE truck. A lobster truck. Touting Maine lobsters. You could have lobster tots as an appetizer, lobster sandwiches or lobster soup, lobster tacos... Everything lobster. Main courses ONLY (3 soup, 3 sandwiches) for six people was $142. And the sandwiches were made with nice thick bread. One slice, cut in half to make a "sandwich". Soaked in butter, so much so that it tasted like a butter sandwich, yuck. Their wines were good, as was the service. But at the end of the day, a disappointing experience.

I visited this place with my aunt and cousin. They are members. I don't believe you have to be a wine drinker to visit this place because I'm definitely not, but the wine is good. The view and your company is what makes this place great!!!!

We recently discovered Dashe Cellars and are so glad we did. The view is beautiful, the wine is good, and the staff are friendly. Scott has been great the last few times we've been. It's definitely the chiller vibe we've been looking for compared to the breweries down the road where you can barely hear the person next to you. Also love that it has lots of shade and the tables are good distances apart.

We visited Dashe Cellars with the whole family and 2 pups and had the most relaxing, enjoyable and delicious time. The Cousins Lobster truck was the food option for the day and it did not disappoint. The venue is wonderful! The covered seating is perfect for a sunny day; the view of SF was awesome; the tables are set apart enough from one another; and furry family members are welcomed! The real draw aside from the view, the venue and the barrel room is their wine. We were so pleasantly surprised at how delicious each of the offerings were on the flight and for a warm summer day, we ordered a bottle of rosé which was also so delicious. We're going back again next month so I hope they also have the dry Riesling available then. It was perfection! Now aside from the view, the other major draw is the friendly, courteous and knowledgable staff...they're a fun group too!So overall, we loved everything about our visit (as we did from a previous visit) and we'll be returning again next month.

Lovely views and wines are tasty but the service could have been much more efficient. My friend and I dropped in on a warm Saturday afternoon, asked if we could sit inside due to it very warm outside. The woman behind the counter asked if we had a reservation - mind you, it was empty inside except for 1 other table of 2 people. She then asked if we would be having flights because she said she didn't think she'd be able to serve us those at the counter- odd but okay, whatever! I told her we didn't want flights, we just wanted to buy a bottle to drink there and she said she thought that was okay but needed to check w/her manager. So if it's okay to order a bottle and drink outside on the patio, why wouldn't it be okay to drink inside at the counter?? She then trotted off to ask away and came back saying it was fine. After sitting inside for a bit, we started to get a little too chilly so we moved outside to the patio. I flagged down a young male to ask if he could seat the 2 of us and he asked if we had reservations - again, the patio was far from full w/several empty tables in the shade. I said no and he starts to walk us over to a table in the blazing sun, no umbrella or anything over it. I told him that wouldn't work at all, it was too warm in the sun, so he pulls a tiny round table and 2 chairs out of the sun into the shade and seats us there - while the other larger/shaded tables that could be easily split apart if needed, sat empty the entire time we were there (~30 mins or less). While I will definitely be back at some point, I'd highly recommend that management drop the odd rules about reservations - this is Alameda not Napa, after-all.

Beautiful view of the San Francisco skyline. Had a great bottle of Rose and enjoyed it outside. Service is good!

First visit to this location. Nice outdoor space and we liked the options to try different flights. When we return will likely get a bottle and enjoy the day!

Really great wines. Immersive tasting experience. OAK departures or arrivals over the patio if you’re into that sort of thing.

Nice casual wine bar, amidst the setting of oak barrels. A different food truck setup is available based upon the evening.

Perfect spot to drink indoors on a rainy day. Wine selection was great, food was delicious, and attentive service. Next time we'd like to come back when the weather is nice and sit outdoors.

What’s not to love about excellent wines with amazing views?

The Wine Host Pam W was excellent - knowledgable (of both Dashe Cellers and the wine industry) and friendly - one of our best wine tasting experiences. Great location in Alameda - we have visited Napa and Sonoma many times - this winery and tasting experience was on par with our favorite visits to the North. If you live in the Bay Area, save the drive and taste local!

Wine on the bay. 5 stars, very happy with that.
