I placed an order online and arrived to pick up right at my pick up time and they had not even started on my order yet. When I finally got the drinks they were terrible! The monster latte was just all milk and it tasted sour and rotten. The black boba was not edible. I was so pissed I just threw my drink in the back of the trash can. I’m never going back to this place. Learn how to hire or train a competent staff behind the counter if you plan on staying in business on Park Street!

Horrible, this is unacceptable we got food poisoning after drinking from this place. Me and my 4 siblings were throwing up nonstop. Please check the ingredients you guys are adding into our drinks and check the expiration date before serving people!!

This Ding Tea is located in Downtown Alameda. This area is pretty busy most weekends and weeknights, so parking is hit or miss - it is mostly street parking or you can park in the parking garage nearby, but you have to walk a couple of blocks over. I wished that they did not close down their other location in Newark - it was more convenient for me to go there because there was parking. There is much of a welcome or any service, but it is a boba shop, so no high expectations - plus, my drink always comes out decently quickly and it is fairly good, so no major complaints. They are usually pretty good at answering the phone for orders, but on this particular visit, they did not, so I had to order inside when I arrived. No worries though because there were only 2 other customers in the store and they already had gotten their drink, so I ordered and got my drink pretty quick. I ordered my usual - the jasmine green milk tea with boba. It has a good cream/milk to tea ratio like always with a good sweetness to it. They serve golden boba as their boba, which is not the best, but it is decent - it is not my choice of boba compared to the other shops though. I am glad that they went back to their regular see-through cup, instead of the paper cup - this may be weird, but I do like seeing my boba as I am enjoying my drink (plus, it is definitely better for photos when you can see your drink and toppings).

I had the Hokkaido coffee, with popping blueberry boba, it was a nice contrast between strong, sweet, and tart! A very satisfying blend of flavors, with every sip! I was here for a K-Pop picture card trading event, and my wife was vending too! You can find her on Instagram, @jerodellee Great service, chill environment!

I love wintermelon and they always make it so good! The store was also aesthetic and a lot of space to just relax with friends.

Parking around this area is very difficult. We arrived around afternoon and it was not busy. The place is spacious and kinda empty.Menu is on the big screens and I hopped into Yelp to tell me what's good. I like to try things I can get at other boba spots. There was two drinks that looked good: monster boba latte and taro burnt cream milk tea.I got the taro one and it was actually very good. Think of it like creme brûlée. I had taro milk tea before and a lot of times the balance of flavor isn't there but THIS... this is very good. Would definitely come back for this and maybe... I'll try monster boba latte too.

The short chubby girl is very sweet and kind but makes horrible tasting drinks, she needs to be better trained or stick to the formula the skinny asian kid makes amazing drinks, he understands the fundamentals of ratios and balance between tea, syrup and milk. When the skinny kid makes drinks I can taste the tea, fruit syrup and then milk; perfect balance every time, but when short girl makes them (during the day) it always tastes like syrup, way too sweet like i'm going to get diabetes!I typically ask for no sweetness as the fruit syrups are sweet themselves, and the skinny kid who works at night knows exactly what he is doing, if he ever leaves ding tea I will likely stop going there(I don't know their names since they don't have name badges)

BEST PLACE FOR BOBA IN ALAMEDA. Their Burnt Taro Milk Tea is to die for! The top is brûléed, and there is sweet taro mush on the bottom. So good! In fact, I sometimes only go to Alameda for Ding tea, and I live 40ish min away. What I like to do is order online and pick up. That way I don't have to wait there. Especially since parking is a struggle. The place is generally clean. I've been there enough times to know that seats aren't guaranteed. In fact, you might lose your seat if you get up to pick up your order. Public restrooms are available!

Wonderful place that supports community engagement. They hosted a fan event for the concert we came to Oakland to see, it was great! The tea was lovely as well. ?

I've been to this location a few times and am a big fan. They have a spacious, well-lit, sunny location, conveniently located on Park St., right next to Books, Inc. There was a bit of a line, so my sister and I ordered and walked over to Books, Inc. while we waited. They have quite a few options to order from. My sister went with the Assam tea, 30% ice, 50% sugar. I ordered the Taro Burnt Crème Milk Tea, 30% ice, 50% sugar, and added regular boba. They automatically upgraded to a large, which was a nice bonus. They were quick, the place is clean, and we both enjoyed our drinks. I had to give mine a good shake, but that burnt crème is REALLY good-- highly recommend!

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this place. I thought it was great! Kind employees, fast service, clean bathroom and sitting area, and even after a large group came in they were able to keep up their quick and good service. Their selections aren't as big as some other places, but they have very good warm tea and unique topping options. Would definitely recommend.

The line for this place went out the door on opening week! I haven't tried this chain in SoCal but have heard it is one of the best rated. If you are here, you should definitely get the pandan waffles. They make the waffles very chewy, like mochi, and the pandan flavor is quite strong and aromatic. For boba, my partner got the Taro milk tea with burnt cream and boba. The milk tea flavor was very aromatic and floral tasting, a bit overpowering. However, the boba was delicious, soft and chewy. I got the classic jasmine green milk tea with Boba, and also felt that the milk tea Jasmine flavor was incredibly strong. Not like artificial strong, but just overpowering. The interior of the shop is super cute, there is an adorable flower wall that lots of young people go to snap a picture next to. There is also a small amount of seating inside that makes it nice to hang out for a while with friends. Overall, I definitely prefer this Boba shop over Gongcha down the street.

Clean environment. Covid precautions and what I appreciated the most was the comms unit at the orders window. You can actually hear clearly. I also appreciate they offer cows milk alternatives such as oat milk. ?Wheelchair accessibility: Roll right in and out. Wheel friendly tables as wellDietary restrictions: Oat milk served
