5 stars and above. This restaurant has the VERY BEST CHINESE FOOD IN CALIFORNIA? Always fresh, fast service and the very best cooks around. Look no further, East Ocean Seafood Restaurant in Alameda is the finest restaurant around. I've eaten in the restaurant, delivery and take out, it's always hot and fresh, plus their customer service is beyond satisfactory.

Excellent. One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Very nice space, nice staff. They can even handle a rush - I was one of many who ordered ahead on Chinese New Year and my order for 5+ people was ready on time without issue.

The staff let us (& others) in to sit at our table until they opened at 10am to wait for the rest of our group to arrive. They still push the carts of dim sum at this restaurant to order! We tried

One of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to. Dishes are served family style. The set menus are great for large parties.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options. Most dishes can use tofu instead of meat.

We waited over 30 mins for our food but it was understandable as it was Saturday evening, looked almost packed. It was worth the wait though. The staff were very friendly. The food was really delicious!
