EOS Sushi is "temporarily closed... until the company restructures" according to the East Ocean Seafood Restaurant. The sushi restaurant was a cordoned off section within the Chinese restaurant.

Very nice ambience and wonderful customer service. This place had some of the best sushi (got the Tiger roll and TNT roll) I've had in a long time, and the Japanese chimichangas were such a unique treat. Loved the mochi ice cream too!

I had a few things from this menu and for the price the food was very good. Very affordable! The cucumber salad was a bit off as it was sweet pickles with sesame seeds but other than that the food was amazing. The service was great the waitress so so kind and the staff as well. Took well to tips would definitely be back. The dining room is comfortable casual you could dress up to come here but isn't necessary amazing space as well must try for affordable sushi!

This place has a nice quiet ambiance and the staff were extremely nice and accommodating I was served by a very sweet "Libra" waitress...(415-342-9498) maybe we can grab a vegan mealThe food was excellent! I'm a sushi fan and I'm so happy that there is finally a good place to go close by...will definitely be back

We came to eat on Labor Day, just as they were opening, and we got a nice big table. Everything felt like it was slightly elevated from your typical sushi restaurant, while still being comfortable for families. We knew that it is the same ownership as East Ocean next door, which is our go-to dim sum restaurant, so we were excited to give their new sushi restaurant a try. I hope more of their East Ocean regulars support their new restaurant like we did because the owners are really nice and you can see that they put great effort into the new restaurant. The server gave us a complimentary edamame appetizer, which had an interesting/yummy twist with a charred yuzu, or Japanese lime to squeeze. Since there was five of us, and my kids can eat their weight in sushi, we ordered the EOS sushi platter. All of the rolls and the nigiri were delicious, some inventive items and ingredients that I hadn’t seen before, and the fish was super fresh. Our server, Grace, was friendly and attentive. She made us feel like valued customers, practically family, which having worked as a waiter in the past, I think is a huge part of the dining experience. We also enjoyed the ambience in the restaurant. The tables were nicely spaced apart in the main dining area, the lighting and decor were cozy, and there's an sushi bar in the front of the restaurant which is a must have. All in all, we had a five-star experience. We will be back soon to try the rest of the menu. Their small plates menu items looked especially interesting. I can't wait to try them all!Parking: Free parking in backKid-friendliness: Spacious dining area

We were the first group there on a Friday their second week of business. Decor is basic, but nice; hard to tell how noisy it would be because we beat the crowd (had to catch a train at the nearby Oakland train station). Fish was great - basic hurdle for a sushi place and they cleared it well. Menu was a nice balance of classic rolls, sushi, and sashimi plus some fun experimental rolls that were great. Will certainly be going back.

What a great addition to the area. Perfect ambiance for a date night and everything tasted amazing. We had the atomic shrimp, yellowtail carpaccio, half baked and TNT roll. Will definitely be back.

This is perhaps one of the best Japanese restaurants I have tried in a long time after dining at Nobu, one of the best restaurants all over the world in this cuisine. EOS Sushi recently opened its doors in Webster St, Alameda with a beautiful decor and creative menu. The executive chef is a renowned sushi chef from Las Vegas who offers very unique flavors in his dishes. We loved the ambiance, the service and the fish is sushi-grade quality. Their kimchi edamame and small plates, such as Atomic shrimp or salmon carpaccio, are just incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. It is always a delight to see new and quality restaurants open in Alameda. Their hot sake is a must. We will be back soon to try more options and continue to support this little hidden gem! Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Veggie roll, almond beans, kimchi edamame, and many more..Parking: There is a free parking lot behind the restaurant, accessible via Pacific Ave. Otherwise, you can park across Webster St. on the parking spot of Subway/Kowloon..

EOS Sushi.East Ocean Sushi... Ohhhhhh.Saw the new business photos on Yelp and wanted to support. Quality/Quantity - Yellowtail Tacos - I liked the use of the wonton wrappers as the shell, but other than that, these were just okay.Red Dragon Roll - My favorite of the rolls, very slight kick to it. Protein Roll - My order, the least favorite of all the rolls. It just wasn't rolled tight enough. It broke apart when we picked it up.Half Baked rRolls - My daughter's favorite, my second favorite.Complementary Cucumber Sunomono - Gave this to us at the end, pickled just the way my daughter liked it.Atmosphere - East Ocean Restaurant sectioned off a portion for this new business; what a GREAT idea.Cool wood pallet decor, see pictures.Bathroom (old storage room) is brand new with also cool decor.Sushi bar seating, table seating, indoor/outdoor seating, etc.Open 7 days a week from 4-9pm.Service - Grace, the sister in law of the owner, and her team were good. Friendly and welcoming. She also shared about their other 3 restaurants. We will visit Kowloon Station across the street after this meal. See other Yelp.Price - $62 + tip; we ate light as we wanted to try their other restaurant and my daughter craved Taco Bell, see other Yelps.Owner Suggestion - Congrats on all your success since opening in August of this year and with your 4 restaurants.
