Sadly they’ve went downhill since new ownership. Used to love their eclairs and macaroons back in the day when they were a lot bigger and had some flavor in it. We’ve also gotten baguettes from there and it had zero taste. Best to go to Crispian next door or Firebrand for better bread and pastries 🙌

I am Extremely disappointed!!
My daughter used to love this place….
It has changed a lot!!
For Christmas I ordered 2 days in advance a Christmas log and 3 baguettes for a price of $75… I did not know Feel Good Bakery would be closed for Christmas!!!
We ended it up with No Christmas log !!!
The following day they were closed too!
When finally I could talk to an employee..
She was rude telling me Somebody called me?? And it was my responsibility to get it in time! No excuse at all!
I did not get the call!! Anyway the person in charge should have left me a message!
I got an email to ask for a refund request !!
Not a slight polite response so far!!!
It ruined our Christmas!! And this is Not Fair!!
I will never come back to this place!!!
I will definitely try Crispian bakery !!!
I'm not sure what was the name to what to me, looks like "niño envuelto". But it was delicious as he//!
Almost everything that has chocolate from them is going to be real good.
Being honest, consistency is not their best. But when something is good from them, is very good.

New ownership has completely ruined what used to be the best bakery in Alameda. It’s unfortunate, since there’s little competition and all of the recipes were ready to go.
The prior owner used to be meticulously involved in the business, which kept it amazing, but the new owners clearly couldn’t care less and I’m sure they’re losing almost all of their old customers because of that. Very sad. Hopefully they get new management and can revitalize the business.

THEIR PRODUCTS ARE UNSANITARY. I HAD AN ANT IN MY TART. I ordered a tart from their store and drove straight back home with it. I was in the middle of eating it and saw an ant running around the box. They basically told me they dont believe me and want me to show them. Like im going to be able to trap the ant in the box on my 20m drive back to the store? I said I can drive back if they give me a full refund but they said no. So youre asking me to do 40m of driving just for you to "examine" the box? And theyll probably find themselves not at fault either based on their customer service
Decided to try this bakery’s sourdough & it’s just ok especially compared vs their neighbor Crispian Bakery.

Extremely disappointed. I had called 4 days in advance & asked about ordering their pear tart for my son’ bday because that’s his favorite & that’s all he wanted not a cake but pear tart from Feel good bakery. She didn’t take my order & instead advised me to just call them Sunday morning (my don’ bday) & they would have it. She was very confident they would have it. I called Sunday morning @8:30am & was told they didn’t have any & should have placed an order for it 3 days in advance. I was devastated. I promised my son we would have it for his bday & he was looking forward to having it. Now, I don’t even know how to tell him about it. ?
Why didn’t the lady just take my order when I found out when I called that morning that i could have just place an order.
My niece and I did a taste test of three chocolate cookies in alameda, and this bakery won! Thick, chocolatey, large, and served warm.

Let me first say the displays are absolutely beautiful!
The lady that helped me was dry, rude, no smile, she looked constipated. She needs to be disciplined. Now on to the treats. They were just like the lady at the cash register...dry, no flavor at all. I have never had an oatmeal cookie or peant butter cookie that tasted so bland. Years ago, your cookies were fantastic!!! Not sure what happened.

So glad I paid $8 for this tiny loaf of bread that is all holes.
This is a nightmare. On Tuesday I ordered a German chocolate cake and a carrot cake both for birthday. I received two green cakes one was broken in half. I have to speak to the manager but none were available allegedly. The girl was upset that we didn't have our receipt. We ordered over the phone so no receipts were there because they don't give you receipts over the phone.
They have only 1 vegan cookie and accidentally vegan baguettes. I wouldn't call them vegan friendly, though.
The cakes selection is so large, there is something for everyone. The savory baked goods are on another level as well. They go above and beyond with the service that is consistent and the consistency of the yummy food. I love this place whenever there's a special occasion for a cake, or just a pick me up to feel good.
Vegetarian options: Cakes are so delicious, while there is dairy, it's still very yummy.

The pastry is truly excellent, as it is in their other location on Encinal. Unfortunately, the service at the Park Street counter ranges from inattentive to actively rude. Having done plenty of service jobs, including food service, I'm sympathetic to the demands of this work, but the culture at this location is not focused on customer service. The bad taste it leaves negates the deliciousness of their baked goods and after several tries, it's not worth it anymore.
