So glad I paid $8 for this tiny loaf of bread that is all holes.

This is a nightmare. On Tuesday I ordered a German chocolate cake and a carrot cake both for birthday. I received two green cakes one was broken in half. I have to speak to the manager but none were available allegedly. The girl was upset that we didn't have our receipt. We ordered over the phone so no receipts were there because they don't give you receipts over the phone.

The cakes selection is so large, there is something for everyone. The savory baked goods are on another level as well. They go above and beyond with the service that is consistent and the consistency of the yummy food. I love this place whenever there's a special occasion for a cake, or just a pick me up to feel good.Vegetarian options: Cakes are so delicious, while there is dairy, it's still very yummy.

The pastry is truly excellent, as it is in their other location on Encinal. Unfortunately, the service at the Park Street counter ranges from inattentive to actively rude. Having done plenty of service jobs, including food service, I'm sympathetic to the demands of this work, but the culture at this location is not focused on customer service. The bad taste it leaves negates the deliciousness of their baked goods and after several tries, it's not worth it anymore.

This bakery is the best I've tried in the Bay Area. I had the chocolate German cake and it was amazing, perfect taste and not too sweet. My daughter had a macaroon. I can't wait to try the pastries. The customer service was excellent, we felt like we made a new friend.

Food: every bakery item I've tried has been great! The macarons are absolutely perfect The vanilla custard cakes are delicious, even the buttercream is good. They have seasonal breads that are perfect for family meals paired with fresh butter and jams

If you are looking for magical cinnamony cinnamon rolls, this is the place! You may need to call ahead, but they will set them aside for you. The Marketplace location is lively and you can enjoy other things too while you're there. I'm hesitant to post this because they are so good... and sometimes sell out, but I want to keep them around!

I just bought a medium sized pecan tart for 35. It was barely acceptable. Won't be going back.

So for my wife's birthday I ordered a rectangular Carrot Cake. I'm thinking any fool knows what a carrot cake is, but the bakers at the Feel Good Bakery have no clue. I got a pure White Cake with strawberries, which my wife is allergic to, on it, in the only available rectangular size at the fixed price of $100.00. They offered a refund if I wanted to return the cake and tell the 20 odd guests that we'll just have to reschedule my wife's birthday party for some irrelevant day in the future. When I spoke to them about the problem, they made it clear, that they did whatever they damn well wanted to and that was how they roll. They failed to make me or my wife, on her 60th birthday, feel good.

One of my favorite markets in Alameda. small but you find everything. Butcher shop, groceries, bakery, wines, also parking, some fast food stores, good place to do your shopping.

Just excellent. Their version of carrot cake manages to improve on the classic. Just had a blackberry marzipan tart that was great too.

Best gluten-free bread around! Freezes well too. Live that it's located in this marketplace.

Lots of nice looking pastries and desserts. Cookies and muffins were good. Service was just ok. Not sure if the person was having a bad day or if they were under staffed but it looked like the person didn't want to be there. Had Breyer service at the other location.

$0.75 to SLICE their mediocre at best but extremely overpriced loaves of bread? No thanks, I'll be going to Crispian from now on.
