Coleslaw is slamming. Sweet tea is delicious and flavorful. Dino rib juicy and tender. Barbecue sauce not too sweet. Perfectly tangy. Potato salad good, cools off your tongue from the hot sausage.
Nasi Goreng, yum.
The line was fun, people are cool. You can have a good time there.
Staff super helpful.
Can't wait to come back for the chicken and the brisket.

Unquestionably the best barbecue and smoked meats I’ve had, the world over. I hate lines, and it was absolutely worth the wait. The friendly, spirited staff helped too…

So I've shared the food from Fikscue with my family and they all agree that it is the best BBQ we have had. The blend of Indonesian flavors (which was a first and definitely not last) was an experience I am thankful for. Fikscue has brought so much culture and flavor to Alameda and we can't wait for you to be closer when you open on Warriors Way!! So excited for this and I have been spreading the word.
What I got:
Dino rib ???
Brisket ???
Balado Plate with brisket ???
Rujak Slaw ???
Flavors, textures, and presentation (even for take-out) was on point. This is how all meals deserve to be enjoyed. Thank you for the experience !

My friend got some of this bbq for me as a gift and I am so glad they did. This is the most amazing bbq I’ve ever had and I will gladly wait in line for this in the future and am so happy I now know about this place! ?
I wish they were open an extra day though - maybe Fridays for expansion? ?

The line management is unacceptable. All the food here is premade. Nothing is cooked to order. All you have to do is take the order and plate it.
If that wasn't bad enough, my food sat there plated for 5 minutes getting cold before they served it to me.
If this is the service they bring to their new location at the Chase Center, then that location will fail spectacularly.
This isn't entirely their fault. For some reason, people here feel the need to tell the cashier their life story while ordering. They've also all been waiting in line for 2 hours looking at a menu that's got less than a dozen items, and they still don't know what they want.

Super good bbq. That brisket melts in your mouth. But be prepared to wait. They open at noon. I got there at 11 and was able to order at 1:15. I heard that some folks in front of me were there since 8:30 am.
Here's the cool part. Alameda Brewery next door lets you take the food you bought and eat there. Of course it'd be nice if you bought a brew or 2 from them.

Don't do this to yourself
Arrived 15min before it opened, had to stand in line for 1:45, and they had ran out of some items.

This place may have great BBQ with all the stories, but I'm sorry, NO meal is worth a 2-3 hr wait before the place opens and sells out of this food for the day! Got here a whole hour before opening and the line was way big already and I asked people how long they were waiting, and was told 2+ hrs from when I even got there. No food is worth that kinda wait in person. I'll just go to In N Out!

Ok the food is good. Not great but good. For the good the smoked fried chicken was definitely the hero. It was juicy and crispy. I had some of the brisket and it was fine. The dino ribs was pretty good if not as tender as I would like them however the flavor were there. The Jalapeno sausage were amazing. No for the not so good. The beef back ribs had that acrid kerosene taste that can come dirty smoke or grease fire. This definitely could have been a one off bad batch but it really took away from my experience. The service was fine you walk up order and take your food. The people were nice but I hate to say that the line was super long. Now since it's as shared restaurant with the brewery next door there were much of a atmosphere to review. The now price is pretty hefty. I spent a little over 200 for two people. All in all I definitely recommend going. Now if they can just get rid of that kerosene taste on the beef back.

Brisket is sooooo juicy! I loved pairing it with the Nasi Goreng. Dino ribs were amazing!! Sooo happy to find a halal Texas bbq in the Bay Area! Will be back for more :)
They have outdoor seating which is really nice and the staff is really friendly and sweet.

The wait was really, really long. On a Saturday, we started lining up at 11am and got our food at 1PM.

Definitely a great place for ribs, tender and well smoked. Line was long and be prepared to wait, but make a day out of it, and I think it'll be fun

Went there twice and have yet to eat there. Always a line round the block even at 11 am, and they open at noon! I refuse to wait for over an hour and not even be guaranteed the ribs which tend to run out. Lame.
The food isn’t great, and anyone who thinks otherwise probably hasn’t tried authentic Texas barbecue. Avoid this place and don’t waste your money on overpriced meals. The owner clearly doesn’t care about the customers, intentionally fails to inform you when they’re running low on stock.
