The food was good but way overpriced for the portion size. $50 for two sandwiches with pickles? No drinks no chips….. that’s ridiculous

The Cajun Chicken sandwich was delicious! Great flavor with a little kick from the cajun dressing/sauce on a lightly toasted sourdough roll. INFLATION IS REAL.....17.99 for a six-inch sub! I would go back and try a build-your-own, which should be less expensive than the specialty sandwiches like the Cajun Chicken.

We ordered several sandwiches to-go to save time (Hook & Ladder, Italian, and Jamaican Jerk Turkey). The sandwiches were fine, but it took over 15 minutes to make. So, we didn't save any time. There were several people waiting around, too. It looked like just 1 guy making sandwiches and a cashier and my son noticed that the guy was eating chips while making sandwiches.

Also, these sandwiches are overpriced. I wanted a small sandwich to save money, but the lady showed me the bread and it was like 4 bites. Seems like some sort of scam to upsell customers to pay over $16 for a medium. Expensive food for little value and bad service.

The place was clean and tidy.

Very mediocre sub for 16 bucks.

Poor, poor, poor. Went there for the first time for their Veteran's day special. Got in at 3:15 and was promptly told by the woman in charge that they stopped it at 3pm!! Nowhere is this stated or posted. Way to honor veterans. Won't return to that location or any other Firehouse. Glad In-N-Out Burger is nearby- they actually honor veterans.

Firehouse Subs offers delicious food with bold flavors. The prices are a bit steep, but the quality and portion sizes make it worth it. Every bite feels fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they use good ingredients. If you're looking for a hearty, satisfying sub, it’s definitely a place to check out. While it's not the cheapest option, the value you get for the price is solid. Will be back when in the mood for a sub!

It was my first trip there,
and I had
no idea they gave you a
piece of pickle with your
sandwich; the guy didn't
explain it well, so I asked
again...Then
he speaks loud at me...I seldom ever give one star, but I
have to this time!

I got the medium size smokehouse brisket sub with a pickle on the side! It was great! 7 cents under $20.

I got the Medium (8-inch) New York Steamer. It was my first time trying Firehouse Subs ever, and I’m extremely disappointed. I paid 16dollars for a very sad sandwich. Don’t think I’ll ever go back again to try anything else since it was such a let down. Value for money is out the window, taste was a bit extra salty for me with all the deli meats and nothing to counter the taste other than the mayo dressing and cheese. Got wheat bread with pickle on the side.

I was notified to come in before my points expired. Being that I don’t live near a firehouse subs, it’s been a while since I have stopped by.
I happened to stumble across the alameda location and decided to check my point balance. I had enough points for a cookie.
I added the reward to my account and was excited to use my points.
To my surprise, the cashier, Kevin said I had buy something. I let him know that I was using rewards points and it wasn’t a coupon.
He told me I could buy 2 cookies but I can’t get the free cookie using points, otherwise.
I had him cancel the order and decided to just order the cookie for pick up.
To my surprise, Kevin took the points off my account and said it would take an entire 24 hours for the points to be redeemed.
So now I’m standing there trying to decide if I should order another cookie or lose my points.
Terrible store. I’ve used my points in the past. Idk if Kevin is new or this store has its own policies but I’d rather let my points expire than to ever come back to the alameda location

$18 for a tiny sub! I checked if this was the “medium” I ordered, and they confirmed. It’s half the size of a basic sub anywhere else.

Staff was kind and efficient, no complaints about the service. The food is just designed to be economic for the owners.

Don’t advertise as firehouse subs if it’s not enough to fill a 120lb person….
