Im not a salad guy, but my wife loves salad.
Picked up a salad today from Green and Grains and boy was I surprised at the portion! 1 salad was enough for my wife and myself; with leftovers for later!
Got to speak to Ian for a little bit and was surprised that all the ingredient are organic and locally sourced. Including the pickled onions being made in house!
For a guy who doesn’t eat salads, I would say the Asian chicken was the best salad I’ve ever had!
Going to try their sandwiches on the next visit!

As usal.i love their Blue cheese dressing.. I will bathe in one day then have licked.off ever so gently. But I don't like ordering a customized salad the way I have, for the past 5 years and instead of $12 to 14.bill. I get $17.00 then the salad practically just shoved then I asked for a bag it was shoved in carelessly into bag then sort of shoved to wards me.What's up with that? Can one marry Blue Cheese? ? I'll be known a Mrs.Cheese and smell funny.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. seriously, the best salad place I've been to. They load you up with the greens for a reasonable price, and it's delicious! The other things sold there are also delicious, but the salads are on another level. Could not recommend this more.
Vegetarian options: All of the salads can be made vegetarian, and most of the sides and soups are vegetarian.

Eat here, your body will thank you. If Greens & Grains only had a drive thru, it would reach a whole different segment of society that could benefit. Cost is the same as a hamburger fries and a coke these days. Delish, huge steak salad and a tall cold glass of water that your body is begging you for.
Great

I can eat a full size G&G House salad for three meals and it's still so much food. Excellent flavor and crunch and I love the hot pinks and purples from the pickled onions (yummm) and beets - makes it more fun! Just insane value. Total go-to.

I love my local Greens & Grains. Everything is fresh, nutritious and delicious. But I gotta tell you - I just tried their tamarind lentil soup for the first time… it is epic. Like ‘all I need is this soup for the rest of my life’ epic. Now I have a new fave and hope they have it on the menu often.Thank you to all of the Greens & Grains team for your dedication to impeccably healthy foods, and for being top tier in service. You are amazing!!
If I could give ten stars I would! We wanted to drop off some soups and salads to a loved one who is Vegan. The owner took the time to help me with this, even with busy Thanksgiving catering around the corner. I’m told the food was delicious. It was also reasonably priced. I look forward to visiting next time I’m in Alameda.
I love this indoor marketplace. I love the super food salad. They let me swap ingredients for others. Their kombucha is popping. I asked one of the guys which he likes best and he said he likes to mix them so I did. AMAZING!!! and very refreshing. Go visit and see what they have
How sad to pay more than 8 dollars for this salad that had three cherry tomatoes, a teaspoon of cheese and the rest is just lettuce in the machine located in the TESLA factory in the cafeteria, it should improve.
We stopped at Greens and Grains to pick up something healthy to take to a baseball game. We emerged with two enormous salads (even though they were half portions) full of interesting ingredients like quinoa, garbanzo beans, cabbage, kale and delicious lemon dressing. Very friendly counter service. The location in a larger market gives you the option to pick up other things like cookies at the nearby bakery.
