I wish I could rate the food but I never got it! Their online system allowed me to place an order on a Sunday afternoon in August and when I drove up there to pick up my order, the restaurant wasn’t even open. I thought they’re closed on Sundays and was hoping for an easy refund. Now I see on Google that they’re temporarily closed but who allows an order to be placed when they’re not even open?? And the card was charged and no attempts were made by Halalicious to refund the money, no one available on their number either. Had to file a claim with the bank for the refund. Apart from the hassle of arranging food somewhere else that day, the refund being this painful has made me conclude that their care for customer is non-existent.
Better than expected. Try it and you will know.
Will not disappoint! The falafel pita was STUFFED and it was soooo good
Incredible flavors, fresh quality ingredients, and so so delicious. Even my picky 6-year-old loved it! Truly the best food I've had in a long time. Will be back soon!
I can't believe my good luck to have Halalicious in Alameda. Absolutely delicious and the kicker are the sauces that I add to my chicken shawarma pita. This is my second time and it was just as good and just as messy as the first. A pure delight to eat.
Gotta give these guys props. I’m not usually into this kind of Mediterranean cuisine but all the food was great (especially the falafel), the guy in there was really generous and helpful, and the prices were very fair considering what you get. Would definitely take folks here for a bite
Food lacked flavor. The tahini sauce was good but was given very little. Everything was very dry. Nice people running the restaurant and I hope things turn around.
We really love this restaurant for takeout during COVID. The food is excellent, and not as greasy and salty as other places we've tried. Highly recommended.
Great food. Chicken shwarma was probably the best I've had in a long time. I got it in the pita with all the veggies and it was great. Falafel is crispy and delicious and so we're the fries. The sauces are on point with the spicy garlic and tahini being our favorites out of the lot.
Best middle eastern food, fast service and friendly staff

Delicious falafel! Big portion for a good price. I ate it too fast to take a picture.
Foods smell good but my order was 15 minutes late
A lil hard to find this spot but I think it’s good. Their sauces are very authentic, like ones in the Middle East. My favorite sauces with the halalicious house hot sauce and the spicy garlic sauce ????? I got a chicken shawarma on a pita with everything which was really good. But the sauces took it up a notch ?
Overall: Great in many areas and would recommend. The chicken shawarma:Their seasoning is on point when it comes to the chicken and they make great use of the vertical spit. The pitas they use are the perfect consistency and the size of the shawarma leaves you feeling satisfied given the cost. The falafel:Texturally perfect falafel, crispy/crunchy on the outside and soft/firm in the middle. Got a surprise bonus falafel in my order this visit. Flavorwise, they are better than most but not as good as the best, their spice blend is just a tad subtle so it's hard to get a good sense of the flavor when eating them without sauce. The Hummus:Smooth but firm, has a unique spice blend that gives it a really nice palette cleansing effect and a very refreshing flavor. Well worth a try.The sauces:All their sauces are very good additions to their shawarma and falafel, the only caveat is that their garlic sauce seems to have that tangy aftertaste that comes with preminced garlic, but are otherwise delectable.
Absolutely the best falafel in the island?
