It's got some of the best bread and falafel I've ever had. The service is great and the people are very kind. Thank you and I hope you open up again soon Inshallah.

I miss this place soooo much! It was one of my go-tos during quarantine. I LOVE their chicken shawarma and fries. Please come back soon! It's like a comfort food for me now.

The best hummus I ever remember having. Hope they will resolve the health department issues and open again.

I wish I could rate the food but I never got it! Their online system allowed me to place an order on a Sunday afternoon in August and when I drove up there to pick up my order, the restaurant wasn’t even open. I thought they’re closed on Sundays and was hoping for an easy refund. Now I see on Google that they’re temporarily closed but who allows an order to be placed when they’re not even open?? And the card was charged and no attempts were made by Halalicious to refund the money, no one available on their number either. Had to file a claim with the bank for the refund. Apart from the hassle of arranging food somewhere else that day, the refund being this painful has made me conclude that their care for customer is non-existent.

Came out in a timely manner, but the chicken is not shawarma style. It taste like it's chopped up chicken breast that's dry and tasteless. I ended up with a dry chicken pita.

Stopped in last week for a quick lunch and I'm so glad I did! The falafel pita sandwich is super tasty and fresh, and the garlic hot sauce it out of this world delish. Great service from very nice staff too! Check it out!!

I really wanted to like this place. We walked in, and the place looked closed. The menu screens were off, and the menu was on lamented cards which looked VERY different from the menus we've seen on Yelp that outlines the bases, proteins, sauces and veggies. This menu had like 3-4 items on it, didn't include the gyro meat, and didn't list out the veggie option "add ons". We settled for a chicken shawarma plate and added a 1 falafel to try out. Chicken was good, but portions were way smaller than expected. I had expected Halal Guy portions, but this was 1/3 less than that. Salad was good, chicken was pretty good, falafel was way too crunchy/hard. The hot garlic sauce tasted like a spin on Buffalo sauce, and the cucumber yogurt was good excellent. Just a little confused with the experience and the portions. This should really be a 3 star review but I want to support small businesses, and maybe they had an off day so 4 stars for the constructive feedback.

Halalicious is truly one of Webster's gems! The food is always fresh, delicious, and hot. The staff are so hospitable and kind and we always feel like we are taken care of when we go here! I highly recommend ordering the falafel. Each piece is generously sized and SO full of flavor. The falafel are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I think they are made with fava beans? The recipe must be really unique; the falafel taste perfect and have set the bar for how I think falafel should be made. The falafel salad is also fabulous. (The first time I ate here was in early 2020. I wanted to try the falafel but they did not have any because someone had broken into the restaurant the night before and stolen it all! I think I understand why now...) The chicken shawarma plate is one of our other go-to dishes. It comes with lots of rice and thin slices of chicken. The salad goes well with it and surprisingly so do the pickles! Personally I would like just a little more salad to be included because it tastes so refreshing. Because the chicken is sliced thin it looses heat a bit quickly, but it is still really good. I am glad that the garlic sauce is served on the side, because it tastes like it may be made with yogurt and I do not like it. My husband loves their hot sauce and he always asks for some to go with this dish! (If you are ordering a couple hours before closing, there is a chance they may be out of chicken for the day.) If you are feeling hungry you should add a side of hummus and a side of pita to your order. The pita is thick, pillowy, and hot! The hummus is smooth and has a nice consistency. I prefer to eat the falafel with hummus rather than tahini sauce. The restaurant is small inside and I don't believe it's currently set up for indoor dining, although there is one small table and chair that I saw inside today. Otherwise there is a long bench by the window if you want to sit while your order is being prepared. No outdoor dining area, but if you are willing to go for a short walk Crab Cove is nearby. I'm not sure how easy or difficult it would be to find parking near the restaurant as we live in the neighborhood and always walk here to pick up our food. Halalicious, thank you so much for being so wonderful! Please never leave the West End!

The service was good The guy was really nice But the food was horrible Absolutely horrible and old You can tell the food sits out for awhile I think because he doesn't get enough business which is sad I feel for him but come on bro don't sell your customers old food

Incredible flavors, fresh quality ingredients, and so so delicious. Even my picky 6-year-old loved it! Truly the best food I've had in a long time. Will be back soon!

I can't believe my good luck to have Halalicious in Alameda. Absolutely delicious and the kicker are the sauces that I add to my chicken shawarma pita. This is my second time and it was just as good and just as messy as the first. A pure delight to eat.

Hubby heard about this place from a friend of ours, and while he was out, he decided to go and grab us some food. He ordered us both a chicken pita. I was so hungry when I got to his place that I scarfed it down. It was delicious, but the meat was a little bit too salty for my liking, and I feel like the way my pita was constructed that all the meat was at the bottom of my pita, and the veggies were on the top. The pita was overall really good, I would eat it again, I would just say that it should be a little less salty, as I thought the pita would help balance it out, but it didn't but other than that, I would recommend it to friends and family if they like to eat food like this. I can't wait to try other items that they have! Their rice bowl or salad sounds like it would be really good.
