Great deal on quality 10 pc omakase. Haven’t been here in a while and glad to see it is still thriving!

Quality food, lots of options, and good service.

I had a blast chatting with the workers here everyone was super friendly and had great vibes, which made the whole experience even better. The food was really good. Turns out they use a special marinated rice for their sushi, and wow, it makes a big difference. The flavors were spot on, and the fish was incredibly fresh like, melt-in-your-mouth fresh. You can tell they care about quality. 10/10 would absolutely come back again.

Hashi Gawa was recommended by a colleague of mine. Upon entering you’re greeted with a low key but passionate dining room. Coming in on a Saturday around 1:3pm the place was lively with customers, always a good sign. We took seats at the bar and ordered the omakase as suggested by my colleague (pictured). The selection was AMAZING. Every piece of nigiri was crafted with care and discipline. The fish was fresh, the rice was rich but reserved. The fresh ground wasabi and sliced ginger accented each piece. The variety of flavors was mind blowing.

Their service was terrible. We ordered takeout and got 2 simple sushi rolls with sauce on the side. They said it’ll take 10 minutes. It took 45min! They knew we were waiting. We kept checking in but they said they’ll let us know when it’s ready. By the 3rd time of us checking, we realized the food was on the counter just waiting for be bagged for a while already. Then the staff accidentally put sauce on the roll without confirming with the receipt or us. They said they were going to remake it but it took another 15 minutes and they didn’t even make it until we had to ask for the status of it. They weren’t friendly and didn’t take ownership of the situation or worked in urgency to fix their mistake. The sushi was not fresh. Never going back.

After reading positive reviews, we decided to try it, and our dining experience was enjoyable overall. The tempura was flavorful, although we felt the batter was slightly thicker than anticipated, overshadowing the vegetable flavors. The sashimi was exceptionally fresh and delightful, particularly the uni and ankimo. While the sashimi omakase was satisfactory, it did not stand out. The service provided by our server was excellent, and there is potential to enhance the overall ambiance for an even more enjoyable dining experience.

Clean, great servi e, tasty food, child friendly. Highly recommend their Ramen. Its soup is not too salty while the noodles are cooked just right. Unlike other ramen in other places, it has lots of vegetables in it. Yummy and healthy. Their fried stuff tastes good too. Agadashi tofu not too impressive but everything else is amazing. Stinky trash smell out the door in the parking lot of the plaza. Wheelchair accessible. Parking is easy.

The best sushi place on the island. The room feels a little bit tight and loud but the service is always good. Black garlic ramen is very tasty!!

The sushi here is great! And it's nice inside; don't be scared off by the slightly down-market shopping center it's in.

Parking: Large shopping center parking. Will be busier at dinner time.

This place is unnecessarily expensive, and the food quality and the service does not show for it. Food is nothing fancy. Freshness of the sashimi is on and off - depending on when you go. One time, uni I ordered was really old. It's not genuine Japanese owned nor Korean. It's run by Chinese. The waitress is young and doesn't really know how to serve people and is off-putting. She never smiles and is very quick on words and runs away.
