Very friendly staff, great rotating seasonal offerings, scrumptious baked goods, garland of Polaroids of peoples cute pets. This place is 10/10. Always consistent and I’m never disappointed walking out with my coffee.

We stayed in Alameda for a wedding and this quickly became our favorite coffee shop in Alameda (we tried all the coffee shops) the baristas know their coffee, the people who work there are super sweet & to top it off they have Tipu's Kashmiri chai (I have never seen this at a coffee shop in the US before, only in Kashmir, India) + really good masala chai ?? so if you like a dirty chai or just a good quality espresso, this is your spot.

This small little coffee shop has excellent service and a delicious latte. It was just right for a stopover on our bike trip along the beach. There is some space to sit outside to enjoy your coffee and the neighborhood. Inside they are having a fun little Polaroid photo exhibition.

Really enjoying going to this local coffee shop in Alameda. The staff are the main factor as to why I choose Highwire Coffee. They are super friendly and welcoming. The only down side is I tend to always show up for a bag of coffee when they are out. I personally prefer light roast coffee which they have and recently learned that they get their shipment of coffee bags on Tuesday around 1pm (fyi). Can’t say anything about their espresso drink as I have yet to order one but worth stopping by and trying and experiencing such friendly coffee staff.

Great spot for a mocha! No real internal seating but there are a few chairs outside.
My daughter's preschool was on Park St, which made it easy to pick up breakfast at Highwire on the walk back after dropping her off. Now that she's in kindergarten I don't have the easy excuse to drop by as often, but still try to make it when I can. Even with coming by much less frequently the staff still remember my name, which I find amazing given how bad I am at names, and the service is always friendly and prompt even when they're busy. I especially like the seasonal drinks, and my daughter loves the apple juice. My go-to is usually one of the seasonal drinks and a bagel and cream cheese or these muffins they have that have an egg inside (did I mention I'm bad with names?).
