The woman in the front with the black hair at the cashier was very rude and had a nasty attitude. As soon as I walked in she was on her phone just looking at me and then went back on her phone while im waiting at the cashier to let her know I have a pick up order. She then looks at me like im crazy and says “name”? And on top of that started my order and put the fries in the fryer as im standing there when I ordered before I got there. She then went back to being on her phone in front of me at the cashier. You can tell she had a attitude the entire time, snatching my food off the counter to put it in the bag mind you, its only me and her in there during lunch time. Great food, but not the best service. Maybe i’ll try again later.

Seem to be constantly out of one thing or another, their website doesn't allow for modifications to food items (what are people with allergies supposed to do?) And their phone is never answered. Tried to call and make a phone order and it just kept ringing. Other kojas seem fine not sure what's up with this location

I come here 1 every 2 weeks or so and this last time was too bad not to say something about. They are out of pretty much everything EVERY TIME. Not exaggerating when I say the last 4 times I have come to this location they have been “sold out” of wings and this time they had about 2 things that you could actually order. Very poorly managed on inventory.

This is some of the least flavorful Asian food I have ever eaten. It's just rice and lettuce with an unseasoned protein on top, the only thing that kind of saves it is the drizzle of not very spicy mayo sauce. I would never go back.
Vegetarian options: There is one vegetarian item, tofu bowl.

I usually visit the Kona over at the spark social for the beef tacos that usually don’t miss. I happened to be in alameda and Kona popped up. Headed over to get some tacos but came to find out that this location doesn’t do tacos. Not a complete bummer just had to pivot and try something new.
I discovered the beef bowl and the cashier did me a solid and added a lil short rib to my bulgogi bowl so I could try the short ribs. IMO the bulgogi was better but to each their own. Make sure to get the kimchi definitely levels it up. Also got a side of gyoza.
The bowl I like more than the tacos more hearty and the meat definitely has a different vibe with the rice over tortillas.
Parking: Parking on the street and a whole lot on both sides of the plaza. Parking isn’t to difficult
Kid-friendliness: Depending on the kid but there’s definitely some good basic options that can be thrown together here.
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible and welcomed

Closed extra early. Sorry I made the effort to get here. Really wish this place could close at the time posted, so that patrons don't waste their time.

Food is always great. There’s a Latina girl who works there with black straight hair that gave me the worst attitude and service while talking on the phone about how she may or may not be a “hoe”

They serve things in different shapes, nothing special. It is too pricy.
I ordered Beef and Pork Kojas and umami fries.
There was not much meat in the kojas.
Even the rice is almost regular rice.

This place used to be one of my favorites. It seems they are struggling these days. First of all, there was a handwritten sign listing all of the things that they were out of. As for what we did get, some of the meat in my short rib bowl was so tough that I couldn't eat it. The sauce on my son's kamikaze fries seemed like mostly mayonnaise, and they lacked some of the toppings we were used to seeing in them. These two dishes used to be my favorites, -with meat so tender, you barely had to chew it. And the sauces and garnishes on the crispy waffle-cut fries made them delicious. As for the physical environment, the base on the table outside was so uneven that we had to put our feet on it to keep it stable enough to eat off of. I hope this is just a temporary downturn, I really want to keep giving them my business.

I'm a big fan of the kamikaze fries. The Bulgogi is fire.. I used to go to the food truck at Shoreline for their eats but love the restaurant it is nice to sit down and enjoy food, very welcoming, atmosphere... Thank you

Used to really like this place but its quality has fallen drastically in every single regard. Every single thing we ordered was overcooked and tough to chew. I’ll give one star for the rice bun, which I still like, otherwise it’d be zero stars.

I thought this place was okay. Nothing too spectacular. We went when they first opened and tables were still dirty and service was okay. I expected more flavor but it didn't hit for me.
