As a Colombian-American that grew up in Miami, I did not think I was going to find good Colombian food in the Bay. Macondo has emphatically shown me I was wrong. Beyond the amazing soups, baked goods, Colombian soda, and arepas, this place has a warmth other spots wish you could bottle. I hope you do yourself a favor and try it for yourself.

Macondo-Colombian Fusion is pure magic! From the moment you walk in, the flavors and aromas transport you straight to Colombia. I recently tried the Barbecue Arepa, the Colombianissima, and the Farmer’s Arepa—each one was phenomenal, bursting with bold, authentic flavors. Empanada Thursdays are a must, and Buñuelos Days are the perfect treat with Colombian coffee. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out—this place is an experience, not just a meal!
