I'm having chicken skewers which are juicy and well seasoned dressed with pickled cabbage. They're accompanied by the avocado salad in a light dressing with egg, onion and mandarin orange slices. All amazing. Too much food, yes. But I'll take it home. Pair it with an Alameda Brewing Kolsch (on tap).
Needed to find a place for a few over 50s to find a quiet place to talk in the midst of an impressive Friday evening scene in Alameda. McGee's fit the bill. Bartender was attentive, the regulars were friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced.
