Friendly Service. Food served quickly. Very DELICIOUS. Always eat there when I have an Eye Exam which is across the Street.

I usually abide by the principle of if there’s nothing nice to say, don’t say it, but I’ve had more than one bad experience with the restaurant. Primarily with ordering food online through their website and picking it up.

There was one time when I ordered, went to the restaurant to pick it up, and was informed my order was not ready by the quoted time. I ordered a chicken noodle soup, but it was not made because the order apparently did not go through or they did not receive a notification.

The second time was for a Pad See Ew. One item and I waited nearly an hour. I went to the restaurant by the estimated waiting time, then was told it would take another 10 minutes. 10 minutes ended up being 25. In fact, from what I saw, the restaurant was not too busy, some empty tables.

I understand that restaurants are facing staffing shortages, multiple customers are being served, etc. The restaurant is doing their best, but as a customer, I would appreciate more transparency.

That on top of the food not being the best makes me compelled to give this place low ratings… it’s on the blander side. The items Ive tried, the chicken noodle soup, larb, stir fry noodles don’t have as many complex spices and flavors Ive preferred as I’ve had in Thailand.

I primarily come because of convenience and if I need my fix for Thai food, but the negative experiences I’ve had probably will deter me from coming back.

Vegans beware. Website says most of their dishes can be prepared vegan and offers a link to a vegan menu. Listed on the vegan menu was Tom Yum Soup. I tried to order it and was told it is not vegan. I had previously ordered this 2 nights prior and ate it thinking it was vegan. I appreciate the waitress for bringing this to my attention. I suggested that the vegan menu option should be taken down if what it says is not the case. She tried contacting the head chef to no avail but promised to speak with them about it and ask them to remove that from the menu if it is indeed not available vegan.

Vegetarian options: Vegan menu doesn't appear to be available as advertised.

If you like warmish to cold food this is your place. I think they don’t not make anything fresh in house, as they are the only Thai place to say “it’s hard to make anything spicy”. They also do not indicate that some chicken dishes are bone in, the Peanut Chicken curry not only came cold, it had bone in chicken which is extremely difficult to eat for this type of dish. Normally when the kitchen gets a dish wrong they at least comp you for it or give you a discount. They did not. Subpar premade food for what you pay for it.

Had the blandest pad thai I've ever had here.
Thai tea was a super small cup for $5, wasn't worth it.

Stopped by for lunch. Even though it was mostly empty, the service was incredibly slow. We got the lunch specials, and the appetizers were already cold by the time they got to us. The noodles were fine if a little oily. But the most egregious mistake, and the reason that compelled me to write this review, the server gave us the wrong credit card after we paid. Luckily, we noticed before the table who got our card left, but that was a really close call.

Despite my previous fondness for the restaurant, I encountered several issues during my recent visits, including delayed service, cleanliness concerns, and a lack of attentiveness from the staff, which ultimately led me to reconsider my patronage.

I feel compelled to share my recent experience at this establishment, which sadly did not meet the standards I once associated with it.

This place used to be great! As time passed and new staff arrived, the food's flavor and quality deteriorated along with the customer service. I was charged a gratuity on two different occasions for a group of three adults and two children (under two). I didn't realize the charge until I got home. I called both times - the first occasion, they apologized, the second, they apologized but the manager wasn't present so I was asked to call back which I didn't bother doing. During my most recent visit, I requested a high chair when we were seated. Ten minutes went by.. still no high chair, so I got up and asked if I could get it myself. We're about 20 minutes in now, we haven't received any water as of yet. The waitress finally came to take our order, we asked for water (even though it's provided when customers are seated). Please take into account that it's not busy. Ten more minutes without water.. I had to wave down the waitress, who apologized, then a young girl, no more than 8 years old, gave us cups and water. There was lipstick on one of the cups. Horrible! As our dinner was being served, I informed the server and all he did was laugh and returned with another. Additionally, during our meal, no one came over to see how we were doing.

I have been here a total of 4 times and it gets worse every time. We asked for water several times before we received some by a young child. One of the cups we received had lipstick on it so we ask for a new one and the guy just laughed (it wasn't funny) The place wasn't busy at all when we got there. I'm really disappointed because they also charged us a "service fee" for having a total of 4 adults and 2 babies. I called and they responded that the babies don't count and the fee shouldn't have been charged. Unfortunately, I can't go back there. The waitress was just rude and really not good. We kept having to ask several times for EVERYTHING. One of our dishes was pad Thai and the tofu was cold. Another dish was soup and the rice noodles were hard (not cooked properly)

Great Thai food in South Shore Center. They have most of not all of the classics covered and most are more refined than what you’d find normally. One of the best things to order is BBQ Beef, Sticky Rice, Thai Spicy Lime Sauce. Service is good. Parking isn’t bad but the crime in SSC is becoming a bit of a concern. That said, don’t let that deter you from trying Monkey Thai.

I stopped by here on Sunday and decided on the BBQ Chicken and the Pad Thai and a small salad, first of all the bill was $50 , So I changed my mind about the BBQ chicken, especially after I was told it was thighs, the salad had absolutely no dressing on it whatsoever, completely dry vegetables, and after waiting about 10-15 minutes, this chunky Asian guy just walks over to my table and sets the rather large bag on my table and just walks away ( first bad sign) So I took it home without fully opening it and checking it out, ate 1/4 of it and wasn't really impressed, especially for $28, and what happens next..stomach ache, followed by nausea, so I won't be stopping by that ?again. Oh and the other sign I should have picked up on...there where only 4 other people there?

We ordered the beef noodle soup, papaya salad with tilapia, and green curry with beef. The food was all delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes! I typically don’t get beef noodle soup at a Thai restaurant, but this one was good—the meat was tender and the broth flavorful.

Party of 7. Came in, severs were nice. Ordered : pineapple Fried Rice (tasty) , Tôm Yum seafood soup (too Salty), pad Thai seafood (OK, not sỏngeat), Grilled Salmon, (good but too small a portion for $26 bucks. ), Mamussan Red Curry Chicken (too salty) ...

Basically, we got ripped off. 5 items, three we're not edible due to saltiness. All were above $20 each dishe, then they charge for steam Rice too...

What a disappointment.
Should have gone to East Ocean for Chinese food. Half the price and taste way better.

One star for the Fried Rice.

No excuse
