This review is only for the dimsum service. I came here with my parents and the dimsum was warm and delicious! We also ordered some family style dishes from the menu like the fried rice and chow fun and both were delicious as well. Rich in sauce and well seasoned! I will be having my wedding reception here so there will be different review later for that.
This place has that old chinese gangster movie banquet style feel ... with that chinese cuisine that you see in all the movies. Good food with that classic nostalgic feel. Remember to wipe down your utensils and dishes before use ... may or may not have been rinsed thoroughly.
Nice view at the Alameda pier, relatively fast service, and not too expensive are the only positives here. Many of the common dim sum were tasteless. Many of them were over-steamed causing them to stick together or to the paper in the steaming baskets and fell apart when we tried to pick them up with chop sticks! The drive out of Alameda was awful too, as usual, so we won't return here again. There are SOOO many better dim sum restaurants in the Bay Area.
