Probably my favorite Cambodian restaurant in the Bay Area! Delicious foods, clean, excellent Cambodian decor, and super nice staff. Will be back whenever we in the area!

This place is so good OMG! It’s my first time eating here, and I ordered the sautéed chicken with sweet-and-sour sauce. It has pineapple, tomato, and cucumber. Not breaded and fried like the Chinese American style. The name of this dish is spelled MOARN CHA TURK CHHOU-AIM on their menu, also written as មាន់ឆាទឹកជូរអែម in Khmer.

Warm and friendly service. Very new, clean, and cozy atmosphere.

Love Phnom Penh! We over order whenever we go here to be sure we have food to take home :) We also try to order a combo of faves and new items we haven't tried before. For this visit, we got:
* traop ang - definitely one of their most popular dishes for good reason
* duck curry - I'm a fan of duck and it's only here I can eat it with curry
* samlor katis - first time to try this fish curry soup and it's a new fave!
* cha kathiw - we've tried all 3 noodle dishes from here and this is our favorite

Highly recommend!

I've been to the one on MacArthur Blvd, that one was good. This was my 1st time to the Alameda location. It was a nice day, had a window seat, food and service was good and the vibe was super chill.

Anything I order from this place always exceeds my expectations. The owner is such a cool, down to earth guy, and you can really feel the family run vibe you’ll often see their kids helping out, which makes it even more welcoming. The food is consistently amazing, and Moarn Cha Ktis is my absolute favorite. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something authentic and made with care!

Was able to be seated right away on Friday evening around 6:30pm for a party of two. Service was standard - nothing to complain about. It was fairly quiet inside, as the restaurant wasn’t too big and the parties inside were not loud.

We ordered the beef skewer, papaya salad (no spicy), and the basil fried rice.

The beef skewer is a must get! Charred very well but still soft. It came with a side of their house sauce (seemed like fish sauce) and paired well.

As for the salad and the fried rice, they were good but missing some flavor. Perhaps it was because the salad was ordered with no spice. For both dishes, we ordered chicken as the protein. The chicken seemed like it was boiled and was very white / had no flavor. I wish it was somehow grilled like the beef skewer, as it would enhance the overall flavor of the dishes.

I think this location has potential, but just may have to order the right dishes

Incredible food. We had the vegetarian deluxe and a fish steamed in collard greens dish, with the mango salad to start. And the service can’t be beat. We can’t wait to go back!
