This is a cool spot for Dinner or late night eats. Vibe is dope. They have a DJ playing.

As a restaurant owner, I strongly advise against visiting and trusting Pho Nation. On my second visit, I encountered an issue where, despite the posted closing time of 2 a.m, they refused to allow dine in service after 1 a.m. Their system appears flawed, as they begin cleaning an hour before the actual closing time. Please use your brain. If they are cutting corners in such basic business operations, it’s obvious other corners are being cut, particularly regarding health department regulations in areas not visible to customers. On top of this, the food is just mid, I only ever go here when it’s late and absolutely nothing else is open for dine in. Please be safe and avoid this place!!!

I stopped by on the late night because I was hangry and need some food . I go in and it’s very busy can’t see a waiter anywhere so I got and sit in my usual spot still not seeing a waiter anywhere. I get up and wait near the cash register and finally find someone and ask to sit in my usual spot where it’s empty but he kept insisting I eat in the back , so I ask again to sit in my spot and he saying it’s to loud where I want to sit . IT SHOULDNT MATER IF it’s loud or not I want to sit in my usual spot it shouldn’t be a problem so I just left angry and still hungry .

I will note that i have worked in the restaurant industry for the past decade and while i understand that service should not be a detriment to the food, i can barely unravel what transpired here.

I sat down at 11pm on a wednesday night, a server with red hair and glasses came up to us and asked for our order within maybe 2 minutes. We ordered 2 bowls of pho and chicken wings. About 20 minutes later we saw a table that had ordered after us get their food. Which i did not think anything of as this could happen due to the order.

Me and my friend were talking, diligently waiting for our food. A different server came up to us about 10 minutes (by this point it had been over 40 minutes) and asked us if we had EVEN ORDERED OUR FOOD. obviously we were shocked by this because we told her that another girl had taken our order. This new server apologized profusely about the order not being sent in. At this moment i had taken a scan around the dining area and there were maybe 4-5 tables max all of which already had food.

Not only were we upset but the girl who had originally taken our order came back and dropped off some lemon drink which she didnt apologize for and didnt acknowledge that she had even made a mistake.

I looked for their email on their website, which to my dismay did not load (website).

We ordered the food which we had ordered nearly an hour ago to go, and they gave us thai teas as if that was meant to solve the very clear neglect they had on the FEW tables that were in the restaurant.

I normally would NEVER complain about a restaurant's service as i myself have been through that hell hole but the overall lack of concern they had for the few customers that were in house is irresponsible and alarming.

If anyone ever asks me about a pho place in alameda or oakland, they will know for damn sure that this is one of the places they should not go to.

Pho Nation is a nice huge for big groups and small groups. Very spacious, delicious food. Their pho selection is delicious. It’s the only place in Alameda that their kitchen opens very late for a great meal. And the drinks are delicious. Great music, and they do karaoke there as well for small or big group. Wonderful place and the staff are super friendly. Great place to be.

It’s 12:30am no one answers the phone. I wanna ask when is your kitchen closed? You state 2am closure on your website and Google maps but what are you doing with your business? If you won’t answer better change your hours realistically.

Terrible! They are a new place with some years here in Alameda? But the service was completely absent! Even after I told them that I am a new customer who lives here on Alameda!!! Don’t come here for pho or drinks. There are far better places. Atmosphere is decidedly unfriendly. AVOID!

After a concert was searching for a late night spot to eat! The heavens above led us right to Pho Nation!! It turns into a night club, so we walked right into the DJ spinning and then a lovely lady approached us, and we said is did still being served? She said, yes! And to our surprised, it was some of the best Vietnamese food we’d EVER had!!!

I have never been here but they are a late night restaurant on DoorDash, and boy I am glad they are! They are the only hearty, healthy restaurant open late, but guess what? They are actually *good!* They are so good they are my go-to pho place even in daytime hours.
My husband is allergic to onions and they have been pretty good at removing them when he order food here.
Highly recommend them!

Cool spot to grab drinks if you want to be lowkey. They stay open late and the drinks were “ strong”. The food was good but it didn’t blow me away. Great service tho!

*Side note*Uber there if you plan on getting tipsy because Alameda has a heavy police presence 🙄

I have celiac’s disease and the server confirmed TWICE with me that what I had ordered was gluten free. The menu specifically asked to specify allergies to the server. He said that “EVERYTHING WAS GLUTEN FREE”

I had to ask another server to ensure what I was eating had 0% cross contamination and they came back to tell me that it wasn’t. The water was used to boil noodles with wheat and rice noodles.

I HAD TO THROW UP WHAT IVE ALREADY EATEN BC MY HEART RATE WAS SPIKING OVER 100.

The server AND manager both said the egg noodles were gluten free until they googled that it wasn’t.

We were not charged for the two pho but that was pennies in relation for the bodily harm inflicted on me by this negligent establishment.

If I could give a negative rating I would. Do better.

Dietary restrictions: The manager could not identify if the egg noodles had wheat in it. People had to ask the kitchen and manager several times to get an answer. In the end they had to google it. Don’t eat here if you have allergies/conditions.
