Hardly even need one burger per person, the portions are so generous! Kind staff. Delicious, well-cooked burgers, yummy fries and sauces. Great options for specialty burgers, but really don't need 'em. (If doing pick-up, make sure you get there on time! Best eaten fresh.)

Fantastic owner and the best burger I've ever had. The place is clean and you can serve yourself beverages. There's a cute bar attached.

First off, I take my burgers more seriously than most people. Just google "Singing cheeseburger tattoo" and you'll see why. That said, I love this place for a couple of reasons: 1. The burger is consistently solid as heck. Burger style for the classic build your own is somewhere between a diner burger and food truck burger. No frills, classic wide patty, not too thick and never greasy or dry. Buttery as heck bun, and always cooked to order spot on. 2. Customer service and care. The owner runs this place (possibly on his own from what I can tell) and he takes immense care with every order. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I WILL ORDER BURGER DELIVERY FROM. The dude wants you to get the best version of his burger as possible and to do so he packs the order with the fixings separated from the burger, and then also puts a frigging wax paper sheet under the patty so that the bun doesn't get ruined. The result is a perfectly cooked to order burger that tastes just a great as when I've had at the restaurant. Is it my favorite burger in the Bay? No. Is it is my top ten? Definitely.

Didn't know about this place but swung by and was amazingly surprised! This place is one of few that actually has hand cut fries cooked to perfection. We never had to ask for anything because the owner was ahead of us and super attentive. The burgers are phenomenal and the service was hands down the best! We will definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to others.

The best burgers around! Better than Barney's. AND the owner is super nice. Grass Fed Cheeseburger is what I order with fries that taste fresh.

We were looking for a quick dinner before the Paul McCartney concert. We took a gamble and stopped in here and found that the food was soooooo good! I had the hamburger with grilled onions. The bun and all the toppings were fresh and the burger was delicious, the best I've had in a long time. My son had a veggie burger which he also said was delicious. Not only delicious food, the plate presentation was awesome! The owner was very friendly.

Amazing! Don't pass this restaurant up. You won't be disappointed with the food, or the owner. He really went out of his way to make us happy. So happy we found this great restaurant.

I was craving a grass fed burger so decided to drive from Dublin to Alameda. Wow was it worth it! I walked in and was warmly greeted by the owner of this establishment. He was friendly and had great energy! I ordered the regular burger wrapped in lettuce and sweet potato fries. The burger was cooked to perfection and extremely flavorful! The sweet potato fries were delicious as well! I was thoroughly impressed! I've already told several of my friends about this little gem!

I'm new to Alameda so I went in here based on the other great reviews. This place did not dissapoint! My burger was cooked to perfection, the fries were fresh, and the guy behind the counter who took my order, cooked the food, and brought it out to the table was super friendly. I think I've found my go-to burger joint!

I'd been conducting recon for wine/sweet potato fries venue in the area and found Project Burger. Their menu item of halal lamb burger further appealed to me. From the moment I placed my order with owner/manager, Hassam (he was the sole staff manning the joint), I was assured of a favorable experience on multiple levels. He was pleasantly beyond accommodating given my preferences. My meal was superlative as was the service. As more customers meandered in I was somewhat concerned that he would be overwhelmed but 'twas not the case....I observed that a large party ordered sides of fries with their meal BUT Hassam deemed it an insufficient order and comped more fries! His humanity further guarantees return visits!!

Like a lot of people, I take my burgers pretty seriously. I love the full range: divey like Eli's ten or more years ago or Ben & Nick's today - Classic 50's like Al's Big Burger in Albany and Great American Burger & Pies in Pt. Richmond - and a bit fancy like Scolari's, that Triple Rock pepper burger, or some at Eureka. And there are so many I haven't tried out there. But I've tried Project Burger and I haven't stopped thinking about it. My family and I were strolling Alameda and went there on a whim. Nice little place with movie posters on the wall - thoughtful as it's near the movie theater. The first thing I noticed were the beer taps. Bonus for that. Then I realized there was one person working there. He poured the beers, he made the burgers, fries, everything... and served us. I'd like to think he is the owner and Bob from "Bob's Burgers" but his family wasn't in sight and he did it all. Like Bob, this guy is obviously passionate about burgers as they are cooked to perfection and so flavorful. I like my burger to be a bit seared and the classic medium-rare which should be mostly medium while retaining juice in the middle. He nailed it. These burgers tip toward the fancy side with brilliant accoutrements that all work together. The fries were also perfect and he threw in some special dipping sauces he whipped up that had a lot of garlic. It was fantastic. I should mention the burger was huge, approaching a half-pound cooked. Fancy, large and a fraction of the price of the other fancy places I mentioned. My family and I have brought this place up over a dozen times since and I've thought about it 3 times in the last week. We wanted to go back there last month but due to omicron surge, he was take-out only. My hope is that he is open for dining again now so we can get down there. Like another reviewer said, this place should be packed. It might be the best-kept secret at the moment, but that may change. Please support this guy and go there as soon as you can. You won't regret it.

First time trying this place and I ordered delivery. It came timely and they packaged the food perfectly! Nothing got soggy and even the fries were still crispy. Everything tasted amazing. Loved it!

We were craving burgers and remembered a good place next to the Alameda theater (Burger Meister). This place is more delicious! Each burger we ordered was cooked and served to perfection. The hand cut home made fries were also so tasty! Even my picky 12 year old commented "Wow, this is a juicy burger" - this is a boy who just loves burgers (Jn and Out and Shake Shack are his favorites). If we lived closer to Alameda, we would eat here more often! The owner, Hassan, also took some time to chat with us. I even heard two guests who left say it was very good! So if you are hungry for a cheeseburger, quit browsing and walk in! You won't regret it!

The burgers are next level and the owner is awesome (very personable, and loves his establishment. Its right next to the Alameda movie theater with burgers, fries, and shakes that are of the highest quality......this place should be packed. When I'm in Alameda with the whole family, and need that burger fix, no matter where we are on the island, this is our place to get burgers.
