Great food and service…and dog friendly in their outdoor seating area! Love it!

Not sure if I went on an off day but service was very slow (I had to ask for the food several times) , the food was average at best. Got the salmon belly crudo and it was tiny, over priced and not very flavorful. Also got the Caesar salad with steak and the steak was completely unseasoned. Does Saltbreaker mean they don't use any? Overall disappointing.

This place is amazing.

It was suggested by my VP of HR and is a great find. I'll be back here soon

Pasta was fantastic (except for the gross mushrooms), but the steak was disgusting. I don't even mind that it was severely under-cooked, it just tasted horrible. We shared the pasta and asked for a check, and the bartender seemed bewildered and had a hint of attitude when I told him the steak was bad and we would not be finishing it.

I absolutely love steak, but were told the steak would be medium rare and it came out as red as some fresh caught tuna. The outside was seared the slightest bit, and the taste was God awful. Will not be coming back.

We come here fairly often and really enjoy the food (steak frites, burger, burrata and salads are amazing) and cocktails. Unfortunately every time the thing we lament is the wine selection - neither of us have ever had a wine here we enjoyed, and we’re fairly easy to please with middle of the road options. The dessert menu always seems to focus on a lot of tarts, which isn’t our jam so we never have tried dessert despite many trips here. If they updated their wine menu this place would easily be five stars and my favorite restaurant on the island.

We’ve recently visited Saltbreaker Restaurant and had an amazing experience. The hospitality was top-notch, thanks to the outstanding service provided by the host, Scott. Cannot forget Ceecee, who added a positive touch to the welcoming note and overall stay. They were both incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the burger, accompanied by the round on the house (THANK YOU, Scott). The burger was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight. The fries was something not to forget - crispy and perfectly done. The inside of the restaurant has a cozy seating, cute little bar with wide selection of spirits of your taste. The in-house recipe of Manhattan, preferred by an awesome bartender, gets a shout out as well.
I highly recommend Saltbreaker Restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Five stars all the way!

The salmon was perfect—cooked sous-vide, tender, and juicy with crispy skin. The crudo appetizer was also a hit, super fresh and flavorful. Great service and a cozy vibe made the whole experience fantastic. Highly recommend!

I went with my parents and their dog. All the food tasted very fresh and well-seasoned. It almost felt they dont even have a freezer lol. There isnt much outdoor seating, but I still would sit out there every time if I could. The breeze and fresh airt from the bay and water is unbeatable.

We reserved a seat for 10 people ahead of time. We were told to wait and waited 50 minutes just to be told “they’re busy” and we ended up leaving because they never seated us. On our way out, the manager told us the table was finally ready but by that time it was 30 minutes before closing and they close at 9.

Local guide on a work trip to Oakland. My co-workers brought me here for dinner, and what an amazing experience. I had the steak frites, and it was delicious. I finished with a slice of cheesecake, and it was also delightful. Definitely recommend this place for dinner.
