Hidden gem for local indian foods. The steamer counter is so tasty! Get their chai it's wonderful especially on a rainy day.

Wanted to pick up some kasoori methi (dried fenugreek leaves) for a recipe, which brought me in. Staff is friendly and helpful. I bought a couple (mix veg) Samosa on a whim for a snack when I got home and these are the BEST samosa I’ve ever eaten in my life. I really want to come back for lunch/dinner at some point, absolutely delicious food.

Great convenience store with unique finds. A bit cluttered with items towering over you as you walk through. Seems like they're trying to fit a lot of stuff into a small space. I wanted to love the food so bad but the flavors were just missing it for me. Both items were sour and inedible. Naan was light and fluffy. Samosa were very tasty. Staff were very helpful. Glad to have a store in town where I can find items to cook Indian dishes. Will visit again for the samosa but will probably pass on the hot food items.

Very good Indian take out counter. Lovely selection of Indian foods. The owner and their family is delightful. Recommend taking a few samosas to go and stopping by the bar next door. Great set up!

We were at Lemon Drop for drinks and I wasn’t even hungry but the smell was too alluring so we decided to take it to go after we left. We ordered the combo which comes with a meat, veggie, rice, plain naan, mango lassi (best one I had). We chose goat for our meat. We also ordered 2 lamb samosa for $9.99 which was prepared fresh. Everything else was ready to be served. It all came out to be about $38 and it was more than enough for 1.5 meals for 2 people. Great value and service. All the flavors were on point and we loved everything we ordered. We’ll def be back for more!

Informed owner that he is in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.He's happy to keep it that way unless I apologize. I don't have to apologize for doing my civic duty.

We were meeting next door at Lemon Drop and couldn't help but follow my nose to Shanvi. The smell of Indian spices was intoxicating even after a full meal. I scurried into the store to explore what was inside. Right when you enter you find yourself in an Indian market with the kitchen straight ahead. The store runs deep and it much larger than it appears. It's a market, a kitchen and a liquor store all combined in one. The Indian food being served was fast food style with a simple menu above. We knew after drinks we were going to grab this to go for dinner. We opted for the combination meal which included a protein, veggie, plain naan, rice and a mango lassi for $20+. There was a lot to choose from. I was torn between the goat, chicken tikka masala, and lamb. If I see goat I'm ordering it! I'm a sucker for samosa so we had to order the lamb samosa which came in two large pieces for $9.99. I never had lamb samosa so I was excited for this. This was prepared fresh and it came with 2 dipping sauces. Yasssss, the sauce makes it for me. The mango lassi was the best I've had. It wasn't too sweet and had the perfect tartness. The service was friendly and efficient.I can see myself coming back for just samosas and a mango lassi if I need a quick meal. For $38 this was a very complete meal for 2 people and it was delicious! Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

Good take out Indian food, pretty generous portions. They have a variety of items for omnivores and vegetarians. I saw about 6 veg options available when we stopped by today. We got a veggie combo with saag paneer and bhindi masala and it came with rice and naan. The saag and bindi were flavorful with a gentle heat. We also got goat curry which was fall off the bone delicious. They had a limited time special deal going where you get a free mango lassi with a combo purchase and it was pretty good as well. Had plenty of leftovers to make another meal.We sat outside to eat at their picnic tables and enjoyed a pleasant day. The person helping us was super nice and patient as we took some time to figure out what we wanted.
