One of my favorite comfort food places in Alameda, Sidestreet Pho is both delicious and consistent. For those with dogs, there are a couple tables available outdoors w/heaters and hugely beneficial to dog parents. I've been here 10+ times and will continue to do so!

I usually get a Banh Mi to go but today I had Seafood Pho (delicious!) and Thai Ice Tea (with coconut cream and it was good! Not as sweet but yummy!) and the service was excellent - I felt welcomed and taken care of - super professional!

Food was delicious. We ordered Pho, Bone marrow on sliced bread, sweet donut and the wings. Everything tasted so good. Servers were pilot snd kept coming around to check on us and every table. Would definitely come here again

5/5 for the Food and drinks, it was spectacular, great serving sizes and good variety! The variety of beverages and the cola’s they had!
Rating 4/5 for Service since I can’t speak to the service when it’s busy, but it’s spectacular when it was not so busy. Food came out quick and they checked up on us often.
Atmosphere 4/5, again it wasn’t busy so can’t fully speak to the vibe of the restaurant. But as it was calmer and slower it was a chill vibe. They had fun Vietnamese music playing!

I don’t ever leave reviews.. My family loves to eat Side Street Pho but today that changed.. My husband did a pick up order and when we sat down to eat, my husband found an acrylic fingernail in his bowl of pho… this is beyond disgusting.🤢
One of my regular Pho spots. Proper week-long broth, light and delicious and many configurations of meat and veg combinations. Great in-situ, delivery or take home.
If you like spicy, request their home-made sour chili sauce that is on the tables in the restaurant (its delicious) and that they give you extra hot jalapeños as they seem to cater to a less spice-tolerant clientele.

This place is so yummy!!! Really really good pho. I've been here twice now and gotten the 30 hour beef pho with brisket both times and it's just soooo yummy. Buttery meat, very very flavorful broth. Just wonderful soup. I'm really impressed and will definitely be back!
