I think of myself as a little bit of a coffee snob, and this place served me coffee I liked. What else can I ask for?

Unfortunately, one of the worst oat milk chai lattes Ive ever had. Not very flavorful. This place has a good atmosphere and the staff was kind.

Prompt service in a limited seating modern cafe on the revitalized Webster St. They were sold out of pastries at 1'o clock, but I was mostly here for their Boichik bagels and cold brew.

The bagel was naturally fantastic because Boichik and they offered a great chili cream cheese. But for $8.00 I thought for a second I was in Manhattan. Which brings me to the chief complaint -- the price point.

$6.00 for a MEDIUM cold brew that was relatively forgettable, in a region that boasts diverse options, is a red flag.

The bagel and service saved an otherwise unremarkable visit to yet another Bay Area-modern cafe that simply charges too much.

Hot cappuccino pretty good. Barista a bit brusque.

Great vibes and good coffee, Signal is the best spot in town to grab a coffee and post up for a bit. Great selection of pastries and food.

Great coffee. My cortado had more milk than I like, but it tasted delicious and smooth. Slow service (ten minutes for an espresso drink). The ethos of not rushing perhaps.

A pleasant "third place" to enjoy a coffee outside of home or work. The outdoor courtyard in the back usually has plenty of seats, so even though it might look like seating is limited on entering, there's usually plenty of room in back. The courtyard ambiance is pleasantly shadt and quiet, so do your fellow patrons a favor and keep the volume low if talking. Food options vary from day to day, thry say Thursday is best for pastries.

This place is awesome. Service is very friendly, they have a cute patio, and, best of all, the food and coffee are excellent. They have some of the best stuff from the area on offer: boichik bagels, model bakery english muffins, and delicious pastries.Worth a stop for sure!

The best coffee in alameda. The staff is always friendly. The coffee is quick and there is a cute little garden in the back you can sit in, if the weather allows.

Kid-friendliness: The back garden is a nice little place for kids to explore and generally people don’t seem to mind my kids checking out the fountain
