Everything is great except the parking situation It's street parking but if you park in their parking lot you have to pull straight in and try to back out
Otherwise a great place for lunch

We really enjoyed the food here — everything we ordered was well-prepared and flavorful, and the overall quality of the meal stood out.

That said, the experience was overshadowed at the end. After leaving a tip, we were directly confronted about it and told that more was needed for the kitchen staff. This put us in a very uncomfortable position and took away from what had otherwise been a great meal.

Tipping should be left to the discretion of the guest. Being approached in that way felt inappropriate and left a negative final impression.

We’d consider coming back for the food, but hope management addresses how situations like this are handled, because it significantly impacts the overall dining experience.

I've eaten here twice and I've found all 3 dishes I tried to be very mid - merely the sum of their parts, nothing special. Prices are pretty high for the quality and the service can be inattentive/slow.

We have been here before and we noticed that there are lots of inconsistency in food quality and portion size, and service .This time they brought our appetizer for the table after they brought all dishes. We just sent it back as we already were half through our dinner .One of the dishes was brought way ahead of other dishes. Our server was obviously overwhelmed.

Good for those who drink, it's a great place to have a beer. I don't drink, but the service was excellent. I noticed the waiter seemed a little upset that my friend and I didn't drink alcohol. We had dinner, and I can say the food is formally German. I have some of the highest-rated German restaurants on my resume. I can say that Parabara is passable, but as a truly typically German restaurant, it deserves a visit. However, it does its job admirably. I won't give it a harsh review, especially since I'm comparing it to excellent quality German restaurants both here and abroad, but it's worth a visit. Because it's the only one in the area.

We wanted to get out of our regular in town places and so we chose this place because it German food, don't get that in every town and not too far away and parking is easy. Feel kind of dumb making reservations being on a Tuesday night the place was relatively empty. Food is great, with generous portions. My husband and I shared the weinerschnitzel and potatoes. We had potato pancake and Brussels sprouts for apps. Highly recommend! Beers🍻were also great. Big selection!

The potato pancake appetizer is great. I wouldn't call it a pancake. More of a fried fritter thing. Schnitzel is very good as well!

Speisekammer has been very good for the last decade since I've been eating there. There have been recent menu upgrades (like veal wienerschnitzel) which make it even more attractive now. Geraldi provided quick and excellent waiting while the bier was cool and fresh. I'll go more often now!

The food quality has decreased significantly with the new ownership. Only reason to go there now, is for occasional live music & beer.

Went for a family dinner. They are kid friendly early (two other tables with toddlers or babies) and all the food was great with generous portion sizes (We got the brussel sprouts, salmon, schnitzel with mushroom sausage, and beef cabbage rolls). Would definitely recommend!

Feels like Germany! The food is consistently good. I love the vegetarian dishes and the German salad, which is basically a variety of pickled veggies. I especially like the pickled beets. We had everything from schnitzel to sausages and everything was delicious. If you are craving good German food, this hits!
