Subway is hit or miss but this location’s food and customer service is worth a visit.

Covid-19 rules still in effect, I came by to grab a pastrami sandwich to take to work. Dining room still closed. 1-2 customers at a time. Only 1 server at lunchtime making sandwiches. My 6" pastrami was ok, not as good as Togos. Why did I come here? Marina Village is next to the Posey Tube, and easy to get to Oakland. And I still have $60 on a Subway giftcard.

I arrived at 9:30 - normal business hours - open sign was off and the door was locked. So I go to get food elsewhere. Going back to the car I noticed that subway was now open. Can't sell to customers if you're employees don't open.

Never paid for my 6 hours of labor.

Went to grab a tuna sandwich from this subway while out in Alameda. When I noticed the tuna she put was barely visible to the eye, I asked her if she was going to add more. She responded that I would be charged extra, for the basic amount. There goes her tip. I never knew that you could mess up a subway sandwich, and yet here we are. Check out my veggie sandwich in the photo attached. Extra points if you spot the tuna!

We bought our lunch here and took our sandwiches with us. Not a good place to sit here. The quality was good, big selection.

good place but the place closes way earlier than what indicates both online and the schedule on the door.

Small, not many tables to eat at but workers are fast and friendly

Workers are good but the boss isn't much a helper, the bread is to hard

It's good when you are hungry it's delicious

Good service. Fresher vegetables than most other subways in alameda. Never had an issue with the quality. This is a good franchise location.

Went into this store attempting to use one of the coupons that they stuff in mailboxs by the thousands. Got all the way to the end of the line and was told they didn't accept coupons and that no store on the island does. I know this is not true because I normally visit the southshore location and they are happy to accept them. No big deal right. I pay a few more bucks but when I got home, the roasted chicken in my sandwich was frozen. I think I'll stick to one of the other many locations to choose from.

This place was really bad. Roasted chicken was frozen in the middle. They wouldn't take their own coupons, they lied to me and said no subway in Alameda does. Lady was super rude and tried charging me for extras that I did not order. I had a very similar experience to some others. I made my order and went through entire line only to get to the cash register and have a very rude lady tell me that they don't accept the thousands of coupons that Subway sends out weekly. She pointed at the door and looked at me like I was stupid for not noticing this obscure sign with people standing in front of it. She said nobody on island would accept those coupons. However, I've used them in South Shore location many times. She then tried charging me for a meal when I just ordered a sandwich. The chicken was frozen when I got home with it. Place is all bad.
