My husband and I tried the dimsum, sushi and Ramen. As he is as foodie and knows and taste which is best, he rate it as 5 star. He keeps coming back either pick up or dine in.
This cafe provides the best sushi I have ever tasted in the whole Bay Area. If I’m asked to recommend a sushi cafe, I will recommend this one without a moment’s hesitation.
Great sushi and sashimi.
Don’t come in expecting fine sushi, this is what I would consider conveniently priced fast sushi. The portions of sushi are tiny, would not even call them sushi more like apetizer bites. Overall it’s conveniant, but if you are out for sushi better pick somewhere a little more refined.
Average at times, good at times, TRASH at times. Not the best.
This spot is worth a try. They have large portions for convenient prices. Constantly well organized and with excellent mood. Will come back again.
The New Sumiko Cafe follows in the excellence of the previous owner, who made excellent Vietnamese sandwiches and the classic strong coffee.
Reasonably priced good sushi and snacks. I've now ordered from them half a dozen times. All of my orders were pick-up/take-away, and never had any mistakes.
First time was good. Went yesterday and ordered the chicken bento box, chicken teriyaki bowl, and two rolls. The roles were decent. The chicken was boiled! Boiled! It smelled like chicken stock when you boil chicken bones to make a soup. Absolutely disgusting! Absolutely no color and the chicken was a rubber boiled opaque White! Tossed it in the trash will not be back
The "No Public Restroom" sign and puzzled looks when I ask you where a public restroom is, means I won't be dropping $50.00 for sushi in your shop again.

Quick and tasty. Reasonable prices. Great for takeout- there are only two small tables inside (for two people at the most) and two bistro tables on the sidewalk when the weather is good.
The Boba is tasteless. When I first got the drink, the tapioca was all the way at the bottom and it is too sweet. Takes around 10 minutes until you get your order.
The food is great. Love everything I've eaten here! But the wait can be very long at lunchtime. Great prices. Bring cash!
Okay the sushi is good and all but bruh it's small, for almost 5 dollars. And the boba is better than the last time i got it because it was used to be warm and taste really bitter. Also the boba kind of taste like raisins.
Aye Yi Yi, growing pains. Just overall missed the mark on all levels. I will revisit and review on a few months if they stay open.
