Every time I swing by Tahina, it's like stepping into a familiar scene with a twist. It's my go-to spot when my stomach's growling and I'm short on time.Their wraps? A wild ride! I usually grab the chicken shawarma, but I shook things up with the lamb and beef kebab pita recently. It's huge! Picture this: you're about to take a bite, and - whoops - it's a delicious landslide. A bit messy, but it's part of the fun.Sure, it's a tad pricey, but the portions are generous. The flavor? Fresh, especially their knockout freshly baked bread. It's the real MVP here. What I really dig is the vibe. The staff are as friendly as it gets, making you feel right at home. Plus, its spot in the bustling Alameda Marketplace adds to its charm – it's like a little treasure tucked away among other gems. So, if you're in a lunch crunch and up for a bit of culinary excitement, Tahina is your place. Just maybe grab a fork!

Everything is delicious but the most surprising thing was the freshly baked pita. I've never had pita so soft and pillowy. I thoroughly enjoyed my beef shawarma plate. Dipping the crispy, well seasoned fries into the hummus made it feel healthy and the cucumber salad added a fresh component. It felt like a well rounded meal that left us full, happy, and satisfied. There are some tables and benches outside where you can eat since the inside is a marketplace. We'll definitely be back for more.

I had the Cali bowl with falafel and a Greek frozen yogurt with baklava crumble. The bowl was great. My only complaint is I wish there were more falafel (they were sooo good!!). Would be happy to pay a little more for another falafel ball! But as good as the bowl was, the frozen Greek yogurt stole the show. So creamy but still light at the same time. They give you a good amount of the crumble which really makes the dessert. In fact, it was so good, I went back the next day just to get some of the frozen Greek yogurt again!

Ordered doordash for pickup, was there on time but still waited over 10 min for food to be prepared. Looked so chaotic in there. Maybe work on streamlining the processes. Almost Everyone looked frantic.Vegetarian options: Great variety

Food was good but there's no place to sit unless you want to sit outside with all the traffic and people walking by you!!!

A friend wanted us to try the Mediterranean food from Tahina, which is located in the Alameda Marketplace. We were treated to:Salmon Tahina Bowl - Two skewers of salmon, which was very moist, over saffron rice, hummus, organic spring mix, cucumber & tomato salad, onions, turnips, herbs and tahini sauce. Beef Fattoush Bowl - Sliced rotisserie spit beef with romaine lettuce, feta cheese, herbs, cucumber, radish, onion, pita crouton and lemon dressing. The beef was not dry and was tasty. Though both were good, I preferred this more than the salmon bowl. Good to know about Tahina at the Marketplace and I'll be visiting if I'm in the mood for some Mediterranean food.
