Best taqueria in Alameda. Burritos are their thing though they have other things as what most taquerias carry. Quality ingredients and well seasoned meats and beans. Staff has been working there for decades, which tells me they are treated well. The overwhelming majority of the business is takeout though they have a few tables and some shared outdoor seating; acceptable utilitarian but not the kind of place you would take a first date. Parking is scarce as is true for all around...
Great food! Very much like my grandparents in flavor and appearance and smell.
The beans and rice are delicious and simple. I get the carnitas and chicharron. the pico de gallo is awesome. A few good places for burritos in Alameda, and this is my favorite.

I've been going here since I was in high school. Class of 1991, Alameda High. I love the carnitas super burrito. I get a burrito everytime I come to Alameda and I always bring new and old friends to share the experience with. Why is it that the rude guy still works there? He's been rude since I was 14 yrs old.
