Edit: I think they closed :( Alameda has many, many Thai restaurants. I think I've finally tried them all. Thai House Barn is similarly priced to the other places, but the portions are definitely bigger, so I always feel like I'm getting a good deal. Also, the food has been very fresh and pretty tasty. Decor is okay, but besides that, what's not to like? I think I'll stick to this place for Thai for the foreseeable future!

Beautiful presentation and fair price. It was pretty good, the rice could have been a bit more separated, some pieces clumped together but other than that it was delicious. I came in the mid afternoon hardly anybody, nice guy working in the place, we chatted.

Service was HORRIBLE. I walk in, say hello. The man who's EATING in the back sees me and ignores me. I say hello again about 5 minutes later after he finished eating, he finally comes to me and I tell him I'm here for pick up. He says give me one second. I'm assuming he's just making me drink and everything else is ready. NO. I accidentally ordered iced coffee, I explain in exchange for the correct order which was the same price. He says too bad. THEN GOES TO ACTUALLY FIX MY ORDER WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE READY. I made my order at 2pm, wasn't ready til 2:45. This man didn't hand me my food til 3:15 and guess what my rice IS ICE COLD. WTF AND YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO ACT ENTITLED LIKE I OWE YOU SOMETHING? IM PAYING YOU IDIOT. NO SURPRISE I DIDNT TIP YOU DONT DESERVE IT. please don't waste your time and money here.

Best curry I've had in the bay! They were patient and very accommodating when I called to ask about vegan options and I appreciated the vegan labeling on the website menu. Yay for fresh rolls and Thai iced tea with soy milk--I'll be back!

Got to love when you find a Thai spot that is not only delicious, but gives huge portion as well! We ordered the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao and it was enough for dinner and lunch the very next day. The Pad Thai was flavorful. The Pad Kee Mao had a kick to it and the strong flavors were addicting. I'll definitely be ordering more from this place in the future.

Best drunken noodles I've ever had! Spicy, flavorful, and the wide noodles are especially delicate. I imagine the Lao dishes are extra special, but none were vegetarian, so I haven't tried them

bad rice (no offense but likeit’s rice it shouldn’t be hard to make good) and really slow

Excellent food and want to support Alameda business. Love the yellow curry chicken with coconut rice. My favorite Thai restaurant for sure.

I'm amazed this place is still in business. Why didn't I listen to you, @Ramiro, N.? Ordered delivery and got... * chicken satay - burnt * pineapple fried rice - egg shells within * sticky rice - several hairs within * roti bread - DRIPPING with grease * green curry chicken - edible Note: I'm so appalled at the quality, I'm posting my first review in 2 years. :)

This was a Doordash order and my first experience at this spot. Ordered the Angel wings and Tom Yum Soup. I would not say I'm a soup human, in fact I might say eww. But after experiencing Tom Yum, I'm all in! Brah, the flavors were so good! The sweet, the spice, the sour and salt. I had a bad fever over the weekend and this was just what I needed. The Angel wings had good flavor but were overly sweet. I imagine the wings would be more crispy if ordered at the restaurant. The tamarind, at least I tasted tamarind was so fire on the wings. Oh yeah, also ordered mango sticky.. It was very stiff and mango not ripe but eh, it's not a go to for me. I def am looking forward to getting into the Tom Yum again. O0o0, sounds dirty. Now tell me, did I taste tamarind?

I wondered here by accident thought it was monkey king. I'm surprised no one is pointing out how nasty this is. Servings are huge, but super greasy and not tasty. Look like they threw in all the veggies they had together with no cohesion. Nasty nasty nasty. Could not eat more than 2 bites. Paid $40 for two servings and some spring rolls. I want my money back. Nasty.

My boyfriend and I tried this spot out last weekend and the food was great! The servings were pretty big and the food tasted amazing! Can't wait to go back!

Def recommend the drunken noodle dish. I've asked for it extra spicy twice and they truly put THAI heat with so much flavor. Pad see ew was amazing as well, very generous with their portions.

Their tilapia is so freaking good!!!! They also own Orchid Thai in Piedmont (formerly Lotus), but I go to this one because the owner is mainly at this location and always makes sure my order is perfect!!! Let’s just say I’m a frequent flyer ?

Solid option for locals. "Yes!" on the red curry. "Pretty good" Coconut soup, however the pad see ew could use a bit more in the flavor profile, and the pineapple rice is really a "pass" as it just doesn't have much flavor at all. Still, the portions are generous. For me, the meal was anchored by the curry, so if you're just a rice noodle person maybe consider another spot?
