Everything was mid. I went there and they had an event (with all respect). They manage to seat me down, the chair had incense and I had to wipe it myself, the service was also mid because I wanted to two items: beef & shrimp soup and a Thai ied tea. The wait was 20+ mins and the condiments were served after food arrival / mid meal, they give me an additional discount to make up for the wait, but if you want to keep me going to the restaurant, I need to receive better service in the sense of urgency and dignity.

The food was perfect for a cold day. The service is very friendly. Quiet ambiance aside from music in background. Would recommend for your soup fix.

On this cold atmospheric rainy day, I'm glad I scored a parking spot right outside otherwise I might given up on trying this place. I'm glad the parking gods were with me today. It gave me the chance to try their Thai beef boat noodle soup. Omg it was perfect. The broth was a flavorful deep sweet soy sauce based broth with earthy spice undertones. The thinly sliced beef was tender. The noodles were al dente with a nice chew. Perfection in a bite. They had cute condiments but I didn't need to use anything. It was super tasty as it is. Anytime I'm in Alameda I'll definitely stop by for some great Thai food. A cute sweet Thai family runs this place.

This place was delicious and I will be going back immediately. I went with a friend and we both got two different types of noodles. I got the mala bowl, the large one that is in a mini hotpot. It was fine, but had a bit too much going on for me. Tons of mushrooms, vegetables and meat. Delicious broth, but sadly....noodles I chose were rice and they broke apart at the bottom of the bowl. But it was delicious. My friend got the chili and Lime soup. THAT?!?! Delicious. Like I still think about it. The perfect amount of tartness and line. And it came with wonton chips that were fried perfectly. When other people were being served, I literally was staring at their plates. I can't wait to go back and try new things. The service was amazing, but my friends soup took a long time to come out. We were told that there is one chef in the back. Plus, it was her first day. She was back their putting in WORK. I think the chili lime soup was made to order! The place itself was a nice size, and since we went On a Rainy day, we had a pretty look at park street. If you're on this specific street, and wondering which noodle house to go to..go to this one...

Beautiful ambiance! Love the windows and decor! The staff is friendly and very attentive & aware! I loved the iced tea and my co-worker loved the hot tea. There are a lot of choices for lunch & dinner menus. I enjoyed the salad type of meal. The portions are big. I recommend for a great lunch spot for sure, but I believe it would be just as great for dinner. Street parking only. Clean restrooms.

Came here about an hour before close on a Thursday and it was pretty empty (2 other tables). Our waitress seemed a little stressed because another staff member called in sick, but she was still in very good spirits. We had a hard time understanding the menu - our waitress helped by pointing out that the bowls are more individual portions and the hot pots are very similar with larger portions to share. My two favorite things that we ordered were the Creamy Seafood Bowl with Ramen noodles (waitress recommended glass noodles) and a peach sake slushy. The seafood bowl tasted like Tom Kha Soup with a bunch of vegetables and seafood in it - one being a massive prawn. The peach drink was a well done alcoholic slushy. Sweet, fruity, and dangerous. We got another bowl, the Ma La, and I thought that was ok. The challenge with their menu is they're trying to incorporate flavors from so many parts of the world. Hard to pin down what I would change in this dish, but it's not quite capturing the flavor like a Szechuan restaurant. I only had a bite of our friend's Roasted Duck and Crispy Pork Belly dish. Thought the duck with the ginger sauce was a little odd (not used to that pairing) and the pork belly piece I got was very tough and dry. The one thing going for it was the size - massive. Solid spot for a warm, comforting bowl of soup. That being said, I'd like to see the menu get pared down a bit. I'm sure there are some gems in the mix, but the selection is just so massive, it's hard to figure out what is good and what the restaurant is trying to highlight.

I hate giving a negative review but I did not get what was pictured from previous reviewers.... ordered pork boat noodle soup to-go and this was what I received. 1. carrots were raw 2. bok choy soggy 3. thinly sliced pork that looked like bacon I took a bite and a sip of the soup and threw the rest away. don't think I'll be a repeat customer.

[IN A NUTSHELL] great thai food, great hot pot options, great service [VERDICT] - APPROVED [RUN-DOWN] Came here for a birthday party and they accommodated us with a party of 12 so if you need a place for a bigger party, they can do that. We came on a weekday and it was just us so I do not know how popular this place is. I would recommend coming here if you're in the mood for some thai food. [SCORE & ORDER] OVERALL: 3.5/5 Hot Spicy Pot $24 (3.5/5) - with glass noodles -based on my dad's review: he says that there was not meat in the dish Roasted Pork Belly & Crispy Pork Belly $21 (3.5/5) -Roasted pork, crispy pork belly, chinese sausage boiled egg over with sweet peanut sauce -This was a great meal. The crispy pork was a little on the drier end and it was also a lot of fat on the pieces. I wish they could make this an appetizer instead of a whole meal. Hot Pot Shoyu $23.95 (3.5/5) - with udon -Pork belly, brisket, fishcake, fish ball, shrimp, egg, mushroom, carrot, bok choy, bean sprout, napa cabbage in shoyu broth. -I think this place has a good option for some hot pot meals. They asked us what noodle we would like with the hot pot which I thought was unique. There was a lot of options for noodles. The soup was a little salty but we just added some water haha. This one tasted a lot like what a udon bowl would taste like. IT came with fishcake, fishball, egg, and pork belly with some vegetables. Udon was also super soft so I would recommend getting that as one of your noodle choices if you get hot pot. Hot Pot Miso $26.95 (3.5/5) - with ramen -Pork belly, brisket, fishcake, fish ball, shrimp, egg, mushroom, carrot, bok choy, bean sprout, napa cabbage, seaweed in creamy butter miso broth -The ramen was super soft and with this flavor, was super good. This one was packed with a lot of meat (pork belly, beef). If you want something with variety in meat this is the hot pot to get. The miso was a little on the balder side but we added some salt and it was good. Pad Se Ew $18 (4/5) - with beef -Flat noodle stir fried with egg, bok choy, carrot, broccoli and sweet soy sauce -Pad se ew is a recommend in my opinion. I feel like you can never go wrong with pad se ew. If you like thick noodles with a a sort of soy sauce sweet flavor, I would highly recommend this dish. This was packed with som yah flavor and the noodles were the right softness that it wasn't mushy and not hard. Beef Steak Fried Rice $21 (3/5) -The beef steak fried rice was ok. I wish the beef had more flavor in the meat itself. There was some of that flavor but in the sauce. The fried rice, I think would've been better if it was the basil fried rice and I'm not sure if it was because I ate the basil fried rice first, this one tasted more bland. Thai Basil Fried Rice $17 (4/5) - with pork -Spicy basil fried rice with shrimp paste egg, bell pepper, basil, onion and tomato -The basil fried rice was super delicious. I think it was the basil that really gave it that flavor and in fried rice, is super flavored. I would recommend getting it. Honestly, this was a good fried rice. There is some kick to this but at the same time it wasn't something that I think people can't handle. Chicken Wing $12 (4/5) -Chicken wings were super crispy and good. I especial love dipping it in the sweet chili sauce. These are great appetizers. It also came out super hot and it was so delicious. They taste like regular fried chicken. Thai Sausage $11 (3/5) -Ground pork with chili paste and thai herb -The thai sausage was a little dry and it only came with 3 pieces. There is a strong thai flavor (basil I believe) which I didn't mind. I think maybe they cooked it a little too long so if they took it out longer then it may have tasted better. This is on the spicier side and there was a kick but not too much. Fishcake $11 (2/5) -Fried fish cake with sweet and sour sauce -The fishcake was not my favorite. It had a very acquired taste that I did not particularly enjoy. I also think the flavor was too strong for me but I have not had thai food in awhile.

We've been here a few times and have always enjoyed our meals. Great deals with their "Lunch Specials" and we happened to stop by later in the day when they had BOGO appetizers for happy hour. We got the chicken wings and calamari and they were both on point. You bite into the crispy chicken wings and it is always good to see that it's cooked all the way through without being greasy. Same goes for the calamari. This place knows how to deep fry! So good that I was actually craving it. So we stopped by today on our way home, but they no longer had the happy hour special for the appetizers... much to my disappointment. I was even looking at some old pictures from 6-7 months ago when they had them for $5. Not today, but we ordered the chicken wings anyway and they didn't disappoint... even at regular price. We also ordered the pad thai with pork, which I've had and liked before. Today was a bit different and the reason for the 3 stars. First off, it seemed a little mushy after mixing it up. Then I bit into a piece of pork that left a weird taste in my mouth. My son and I shared it and he really couldn't tell because one, he was starving; two, he also mixed chili paste and white pepper with it so his opinion doesn't count . I like to taste the actual flavors. So needless to say, I was done with it after a few bites and ended up with leftovers. It was very unusual for this place so I'm not about to totally abandon them for one bad dish. As I've said, I've actually enjoyed their pad thai before. Also, I missed the usual cheerful ladies who served us in the past.

Nice looking place, the food is just meh... ordered the crispy pork belly and duck, asked for the sauce on the side. The food came out, looked good, but there was sauce all over it. Sent it back, and when it came back, without the sauce on it, it looked like the meat had been boiled, the pork belly was Grey and floppy, the duck skin was rubbery and the meat cold. I shared some of the pork belly with the rest of the people at my table, and no-one thought it was any good. It was bland and not appealing at all. My wife had the Udon, and the noodles fell apart whenever she tried to pick them up, neither her or my son finished their noodles. The appetizers tasted like store bought wings and shrimp that had just been popped in the air fryer; the wings tasted ok though. Nice folks, neat atmosphere, but the food leaves ALOT to be desired. The pictures are of the crispy pork belly and duck, notice the difference between what the menu depicts the dish as, vs what came to the table. The other picture is of the shrimp.

Wonderful experience! I went with several friends, and that night they were understaffed due to some staffing issues, but our server immediately let us know upon walking in and kept checking on our party to make sure we had our needs met. Ordered the roast Duck and crispy pork belly over rice and were pleasantly surprised! Room was decently lit and could easily carry a conversation. Would go back again!

I really wanted to like this place more. If noodle is in your name the noodles should be excellent. I got shrimp pad Thai. My noodles were super mushy. I do like the variety of hot sauce options. They do have lunch specials that include a salad and an appetizer. Service was friendly and the place was clean and quiet.
