5 stars isn't enough. 10 stars isn't enough. My sister had her wedding here yesterday and we had an indescribably good time. Special shout-out to Heidi and Justin. They kept us comfortable, never intruded, and made great conversation when you needed a break at the bar. Cannot say enough good things about Hangar 1
I was stationed at Naval Air Station Oceana on the east coast back in the 90s and I can tell you this for sure: If the Navy had installed a distillery and tasting lounge into one of our hangar bays like Hangar 1, I might have reenlisted. My wife and I sailed in from SF for our anniversary Hangar 1 was definitely an Alameda highlight. Valerie was the hostess with the mostest. Wide open place with friendly accommodating staff. Drink flight sampler was very pretty and was on the sweet side. They were out of the more savory mixes the day we came. I liked the view
