Still going strong with the best pho I've had in Alameda for over a decade! For vegetarians they also have the best veggie pho in town. Also their lemongrass rice dishes, fresh spring rolls, and fried imperial rolls are delicious. The woman owner and staff are very friendly and have a real pride of ownership -- always a warm smile and chat asking about our family. Great for kids.

Parking is hard to find for this place and this is the second time I've walked a couple blocks just so I could eat here and they were closed. There was no update posted online and if you want to close and open at will to go on "vacation" you should have google reflect that. I shouldn't have to walk to the door to find out.

Tu Tai 2 is my favorite place for Vietnamese food, especially Bun Cha Gio, which I usually get to take home. It travels well! I have had this dish in many places, and I think this is the best in Alameda!

Decided to give Tu Tai 2 a try and see what their banh mis and rice plates were about. I called in my order and they said 15 minutes for 2 items. By the time I got there 10 minutes later, it was done so yay! I got a grilled pork banh mi and a grilled pork rice plate. Sadly, the pork was over cooked, making it tough to eat. I decided not to finish eating my banh mi after eating it 3/4 of it because it was hurting my mouth too much. Good thing was there was a generous amount of meat and veggies! And the flavor was there, just overrun by the overcooked pork. I plan on giving them another try one of these days though since their customer service was great and maybe this was just an off day.

Had a really great experience here during the COVID/takeout only timeframe. The people are really sweet here and the portions are massive. Their Pho broth is the tastiest I’ve had in Alameda. I look forward to coming here more often.
Our family always love dining or take out at Tu Tai for Vietnamese noodle. Love their soup doesn't have any MSG. Always serve at hot, fresh and not salty. The rice plate or noodle plate are great too. Love their rolls. The price are very reasonable. The lady waitress is very polite and love her smile.

In my town of Alameda a No-Frills pho and Vietnamese rice plate place that does it right. Big bowls of steaming pho bolsa tasty iced tea and Thai iced tea in a very hospitable quiet environment. I think this place is great for a quick lunch when you're on the west end of Alameda.

I like going there. It depends on what you like. The owner and staff knows me well. The movement I sit down, she will tell waiter or waitress and make sure they bring my hot tea and glass of ice water. Always ask if everything is ok and so appreciated! Not many Vietnamese restaurant does that. Side street cafe used to do this when they were brand new and now who am I??? Which is why I stop going there Tu Tai is now my go to place for a hot soup or rice place and especially their price is reasonab

Yum, yum, and yum! I eat here all the time, it’s the perfect comfort food. I’ve eaten pho all over the Bay Area and this place has my favorite. The staff are so welcoming and the food is amazing, I order new stuff from their menu all the time and I’m never disappointed. Would highly recommend.
