This is one of my favorite all time ice cream shops. I've visited here for 30+ years. I always look forward to going here.
Decent root beer float
Delicious ice cream at this long time local shop. The Fudge Anna is especially amazing despite the price. You get what you pay for!
I walked into this ice cream shop today and was repeatedly ignored by the people who work there. They kept addressing the people behind me in line, and one person apologized to me since they could see that the workers were clearly ignoring me. When I was the last person there the people working just kept speaking to each other instead of acknowledging I was there trying to order a scoop. This was such disrespectful and strange behavior. Will definitely not be going back.
I've been coming here since a kid. Great ice cream!
Best place Haley got the bomb service. Ice Cream really good highly recommended
Was delighted by my marble raspberry ice cream on a waffle. I also forgot my jacket there, and an employee very politely retrieved it despite it being just after closing
it's okay. not amazing.
I have been coming to Tucker’s Ice Cream for years. Love their homemade ice cream. There is always a line.
However, I was very disappointed when I went last week. I just want a small scoop. So I decided to get 2 baby scoops. And i got a single scoop for my friend. The 2 baby scoops was extremely small comparing to the single scoop. I would not known if I didn’t order the single scoop. Guess what?! they are same price. So I told the server this is not right. He was like that’s the baby scoops. He didn’t do anything about. I hope the owner of Tucker’s ice cream would check on this. The sizes and the prices need to be adjusted. BUYER BEWARE. 🙄 I wish I took some pictures
Favorite ice cream shop on the island! The ice cream is (obviously) great, but I also feel like their chocolate covered bananas are underrated!

A classic Alameda ice cream institution that has been in the neighborhood since 1941! There is always a delicious smell of waffle cones that is just enticing. They make the waffles fresh in-house and they taste absolutely delicious on their own. It reminds me of the taste of a fortune cookie. My favorite flavors are mocha chip, pralines and cream, and marble black raspberry. They have a nice selection of flavors, and there is always some type of seasonal flavors available. The peach cobbler, lemon custard, ube, pumpkin, banana coconut creme are standouts to me and are such a treat.
There are a variety of options, from ice cream to sorbet, ice cream sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, chocolate dipped frozen bananas, cho-chos, sliced ice cream cakes, milkshakes, malts, and espresso based drinks. The cho-chos taste delicious and are fun to eat.
Their bestselling flavor salted butter caramel, is a decadent combination of sweet and salty. Staff members and the manager Hailey are hardworking and kind.
Good spot to stop by during long bike rides.
What a great neighbor old school ice cream parlor est. 1941. Got a junior double scoop of Marble Butterscotch and Almond choco Fudge or any of the 2 dozen flavors available daily in a cake cone. They also have frozen chocolate-covered bananas and ice cream cakes for kid's parties. I heard there's a crazy 12-scoop Kitchen Sink sundae, but I haven't tried it yet!
Tucker's is a beloved gem in Alameda and has been a long-standing tradition for our family. My husband grew up enjoying Tucker's, and now we've continued the tradition with our children. The flavor selection is incredible—there hasn’t been a single one we didn’t enjoy. Whether you're staying to savor your ice cream in the charming shop or strolling through Alameda's quaint downtown, the experience is always delightful.
The vibe is welcoming and nostalgic, perfect for creating lasting memories. And don’t miss their fresh-made, chocolate-covered waffle cones—they’re worth the trip alone! Tucker’s truly embodies everything you want from a local, family-run ice cream parlor: exceptional quality, friendly service, and a touch of magic. Highly recommend!

Fun ice cream parlor. There was a little wait. They offer too many flavors! I had a hard time deciding on one!
