Best suishi on the island! The kaisin don was excellant. The quality and variety of fish does not disappoint. Sea bream, halibut, uni, golden eye snapper and don't miss out, try the wagyu nigiri! Service is wonderful. I spent $75 for dinner, but I can eat alot of fish. You can definitely get out the door cheaper and still well fed.

The spot we wanted to go to was closed and this was the next closest to us. The restaurant was pretty filled when we walked in but luckily they had a few tables available because I was starving. We pretty much ordered what we would normally order at any sushi spots: the available nigiris, sushi roll, sushi tacos, appetizers. Everything we ordered was just okay... nothing special about it and it didn't wow me, except the ankimo appetizer. That was the best dish we had there. So good we ordered it again at the end BUT it was disappointing the second time. The ankimo was very cold and hard compared to the first order which was soft and creamy. The fish didn't really taste fresh and didn't have much flavor. The roll we ordered was topped off with way too much deep fried bread crumbs and just made the whole roll taste way too oily. The sushi taco tasted stale and old.. Service was okay as well. They forgot my wasabi and finally gave me some after a few asks. They didn't refill our waters nor did they check up on us.

I LOVE this place. This is my go-to Japanese spot and I'm glad it is located close to me here on the Island. When I can't afford Omakase in SF, I come to WAKI and am able to get pretty close to the quality. The service is great. They greet you as you walk in. Food is fresh, not that funky stuff they try to sell you that you know has been sitting a while. I love the decor inside. It's quite authentic. 10/10 recommend.

Loved the atmosphere, clean-looking, simple interior design. Service was excellent and the food was premium quality. A bit spendy but definitely worth it.

Was sitting at home one night, just late enough to be too lazy to leave. Searched a delivery app for sushi and ordered. It was decently priced, fresh and delicious. 6 weeks pass and again unsure of what to eat. Found a restaurant on Yelp called Waki so off we went. The rolls/nigiri were decently priced, fresh and delicious. Then it hit us...this is the same restaurant we ordered from a few weeks earlier.

Decided to stop by Waki as it was near our new place, and so glad we did! We walked here so didn't have to deal with parking, as it can be a hassle in the Webster area. Anyways , onto the foods, we are really picky when it comes to sushi, so we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and presentation of the meal. They had some of the best toro and otoro we've had (we think the fatty cut we had today was comparable to tsuki market in Tokyo), and the portion was generous. Service was exceptional as well! Can't speak for the kitchen foods, but everything straight out of their sushi bar was delicious. Don't sleep on the Kaisen Don, it was absolutely amazing

They might have good food but they lie about ready and pick up times. I walked out without trying anythingIt's now 4 months later and they are still making mistakes. Placed an order for pickup and when I arrived the staff tell me that they forgot to put in my order. Really? Only 2 dine in customers at the moment and nobody could bother to prepare my food. This place needs to hire and properly train the entire crew.

Fresh Sushi. Best lion king roll I've ever had. Kaisen Don is amazing with fresh delicate cuts and tasty accents.
