We’ve been coming to Yellowtail since they first opened on Park Street about 17 years ago. It’s become an Alameda institution. The sushi is solid; one of the owners, Gary makes most of the sushi and his attention to detail is fantastic. This is our go-to Japanese spot in Alameda and it never disappoints! The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, always coming over to say hello. The service is always top-notch, and the food is consistently great, super fresh and balanced flavors. Highly recommend for great sushi and family friendly environment.
