Interesting, tucked-away place for a favorite coffee, breakfast platter, sandwich, or pastry. Bring newspaper, order, find a place to sit (inside or out) and relax amongst the locals. Parking a premium.
Great food, but the owner is SO stingy. Charges too much for every little thing, and denied me a refill (which was included with the drink I purchased, per the sign hanging next to the register) saying she would have to charge me again. Conveniently located next to the Alamo Cafe, which does not rip off its customers!
This is the place to go for quaint and nostalgic coffee. This is a rare experience and a far cry from the cookie cutter starbucks. Meet friends, go for a date or organize a job interview. Great place to watch the world go by without stairing at a car park!
