It must've just opened recently, they don't quite have there rhythm down yet, in the way of order, processing, serve. They were getting busy really helpful and polite. Took a bit to get the sandwich. I had a combo was really GOOD!. I'll get again and definitely go back. But probably early or later than noonish. I think will do good, employee's need better management.

Amazing deli sandwiches with all the best, fresh bread, meat, and cheese options. Friendly staff, decent prices, and a wide variety of refrigerated, bottled beverages.

I have many fond memories of eating here over the last couple decades. The sandwiches are simply excellent--the Ariana in particular was always a favorite of mine. They have a nice selection of pasta salads, chips, and soft drinks, as well. The owner and employees provide great service, too.
It's a great deli. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Top ten sandwiches. Love the turkey club. Family owned. Always friendly service.
I like all their sandwiches and the make the best potato salad. Great folks that run the place.
Yup it's the best sandwich in the Tri-Valley. I had not been here in many years until recently. Had lunch with work associates , enjoyed it so much my wife and rode I bikes there a few days later.
The sandwiches are fantastic, but the owners are even more fantastic. Any time I'm in the area I make it a point to stop.
Alamo! What the hell's in Alamo, I asked, and he yells out The Brass Bear Delicatessen! Then the little worm looks at me with one of those I told you so looks in his eyes and proclaims that The Brass Bear Deli is the best deli in the North Bay! So, after I gave him a quick geography lesson we went straight there. Half way through lunch he said...because he lives in Castroville everything north of San Jose is the North Bay!
The sandwiches were Amazing!

I decided to get my bike out and take a stroll. On my return, I decided to dine at The Brass Bear Delicatessen! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and clean. There is not a restroom for use, but 5 Guys is next door for cleaning services. ? I ordered the Bearwood and was very pleased with my sandwich. Fresh veggies, crisp pickles and the meat was packed on! Brass ? helped me finish my ride strong. ?? If you are nearby, stop in and get a Bear sandwich. Lol.

Solid sandwiches, but unusually bad service.Slow (even though we were only one of 2 groups waiting).Unfriendly (there were two older people behind the counter who seemed as though they couldn’t care less that we were patronizing their business, although the young man who made our sandwiches seemed well meaning enough even though he hardly said 2 words the entire time)Overpriced (I get that it’s Alamo but still).Wish I could come back because again, the sandwiches were above average.
