Excellent food and service. Sat inside this time, but they do have heaters outside. Always good food with good friends.

i just want to tell you about the " loaded "baked potato for $6,-well it must have been the worst "unloaded" one in the last 10 years i dont even think it was fully baked, maybe first boiled. besides some " sauer cream "there was nothing else on the potato. well yes i saw something yellow under the sauer cream, looked like velveta was sprayed on in one spot or this other yellow stuff. since there was no butter and real cheese on the potato it was try. the steak was so so,but not of good quality and for $ 40 too expensive

I haven't been to this restaurant in many years, and boy, has it gone downhill. Food bland, expensive, with slow service. Promised to accept a coupon at the beginning of the meal, then refused when bill came. Very rude manager. Slow service. Will never be back.

I've eaten here before but many years ago, and it was pricey but good. Read the other negative reviews. This time, the food was bland and tasteless. Portion size was OK Pork chop was tough and not marinated. Paella was tasteless and was supposed to be saffron rice but tasteless and no yellow color. Halibut was overcooked with a bad hash brown potato coating. We said we were splitting the dishes, no extra plates brought to split, despite request. Before I entered, I asked if they accepted a $25 coupon that I was going to use. They said yes. I asked them to look at it to make sure it was good- they said they didn't have to until after dinner. If they had told me they didn't accept the card or it was invalid, I would not have eaten there. After dinner, I showed them the coupon with a code number. They said that's all you need. Then they came back and said the code didn't work. I said I expected them to take the $25 off the bill. They refused. They refused to let me talk with the owner. They threatened to call the police. This is the rudest and worst restaurant experience I ever had. I will never return. We paid the bill in full ( over $100) and tipped.Even the business card is wrong. Says their hours are to 9pm- the latest is 830.

A great find! Some of my friends went there for doinner. The food and service were the best. They were nice enough to give us separate checks. That is sometime hard to find. I had the ribeye with great sides. Want to back soon.

My family and I love Xenia Bistro. The food is tasty and the customer service is A+. (Jordan was our server tonight) I had salmon with risotto and vegetables. The Salmon was fabulous. It was the best I've had in a while, It was grilled to perfection. They changed their menu to offer more options. My fussy eater son had steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans. He ate it all and said it was delicious. My husband had the short ribs and my daughter had the grilled Cod with a Shirley Temple. We will return again and again. Thank you!

Food was not as good as we have had in the past. Wife had calamari steak and it was overcooked and tough. I had seafood paella, not as much seafood as in the past. The service was excellent, wait staff very attentive.

We had a most delicious halibut dinner. It was deliciously potato crusted prepared with the tender deliciously prepared green beans!Service was prompt and polite! The restaurant was a little pricey but it was worth it for The food that was served. The restaurant is rustic and cosy. We will return!!!

cancelled last minute on thanksgiving even though my driver already arrived there and even though i placed my order well ahead of time and they are open on thanksgiving with thanksgiving specials. wasted my driver's time and cost him money on the holidays plus now leaving me in a pickle. very thoughtless.

Paid $17.95 for fish and chips through DoorDash for literally ONE piece of fish. This was the center of our order/reason for ordering, so we were sorely disappointed. Had I known it was only 1 piece we wouldn't have even bothered ordering. Also a bit odd that they let you select between rare thru well-done for fish. The burrata tomato crostini was nice and we appreciated that they packed it all separately so it didn't get soggy. The artichoke spinach dip was nice. Both of these were also priced quite high at $16.95 each, though. The pepperoni pizza was decent and adequately priced, as was the chocolate cake.Overall not worth the expense.

My husband and I go out every Friday and have tried many restaurants in Alamo, Danville, San Ramon, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek. Zenia is our spot whether for drinks and appetizers or dinner. At many restaurants my drink is skimpy, watered down or the brand is substituted without asking if it is ok. Not here and the second is is not half the glass compared to the first full drink which is often the case at restaurants/bars. During Covid lock down we enjoyed their takeout especially the hamburgers . Always ready for pickup within 20 minutes and grilled to order. The atmosphere is relaxing, the food is excellent, service friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Had an excellent dinner. Bruschetta perfect, Brussels sprouts crispy outside tender inside and hot. My rib eye a perfect med rare (loved the horseradish sauce) with Al dente vegetables and 'real' mashed potatoes. Husband loved his spaghetti and meatballs. During Covid we ordered the 'best' hamburgers now have found our regular Friday night spot.

Been a customer for years. My favorite part about this place? Rustic decor and the smoky meat cooking smell that hits you when you walk in. It's their signature I would say. Food has never been bad.
