Today was my first time dining at this restaurant. The servers were great, very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is very nice. I had the traditional dish I always try my first time at a Thai restaurant which was pad thai and it was very salty. There's another restaurant in the same Plaza called Thai bites which I prefer. There Pad Thai is a bit sweeter and more traditional I think but the food wasn't bad just way too much salt. My friend who is vegan had a vegan dish which was also very salty he said. I think it would be a small adjustment for them to back off on the salt as this could be a really cute little gold mine in the heart of Aliso Viejo. I will go there again but probably try something different or ask for low sodium option if they offer that. Otherwise it was a very pleasant experience.

FOOD poison ! We got food poisoned ? today for their taster menu $17 Do NOT order that ! Beef terrible , fried small bags got poisoned and was throwing up . Stomach hurt so bad ! Also sweet noodles with mushrooms ( mushrooms ) tasted like Clorox /

How can your staff served a child with a bottle of juice that’s un opened without the opener? Your 20% service charged added to the bill without asking the customers is a big turn off, for the kind of service and food quality 20% is a lot to be added in the bill. You should at least suggest it first not add it right away.

What can I say... one of the best Thai places there is in South County. The place is very inviting and, the service is great, and the food is outstanding. We normally order the Green or Red Curry, or sometime Panang. You can't go wrong ordering the traditional Pad Thai. I am very picky when it comes to Thai Iced Tea, and theirs is on-point. We always comes back whenever we are craving Thai.

The yellow curry with level 2 spice is so good! Wish it had more chicken in it, but the flavor is incredible. The pad Thai is also a great choice!

Beyond Thai is one of the BEST restaurants in the area. We order the yellow curry (spicy level 2) and the shrimp pad Thai every single time. The food has so much flavor and the portions are great. This is a must try in Aliso!
