We picked up food for visiting friends & the Cuisine was delicious & service was GREAT! Staff are super-friendly & professional. My husband and I had a delicious dinner with Mediterranean flat bread and kabob plates. Our server Claudia was great and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We will be back!

THE BEST HUMMUS I’ve had in California since moving here in 2020. I moved from Dallas and loved the hummus from a place called “Eatzies”. I had been looking for the perfect hummus in SoCal that met my expectations. At Fennel Kitchen & Bar the pesto hummus, eggplant, and yogurt dips are all SO good. Super fresh & authentic. Finally found a place to get my hummus! I’ll definitely be back to try more of their cuisine.

I would give 10 stars if possible. My mom and I ate here and we both have multiple food intolerances. Pedran (I apologize if I misspelled his name) made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to find food that would work for us. We can’t thank him enough. Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food.

Worst service I ever experienced. My husband and I came here for Sunday brunch, restaurant traffic was slow.

At first, the server was on the phone and continued to take calls while we were waiting for a table at least 15 minutes before being seated. He did not bring us a server, we waited for another 15-20 mins.

A couple who came AFTER us was seated IMMEDIATELY and a server was called and bypassed us completely. Furious, we got up to leave and he did not even look our way or apologize or ask for us to return.

10/10 service and we ordered the avocado quinoa salad with chicken. Everything was so fresh and the dressing was amazing. The hummus is the best I’ve ever had and loved every single bite!

Sat there for 30 minutes. They did not even bring us water. Half way through made eye contact wait a server and politely waved at him and he nodded, but still no service. People who got sat after us were eating their food while we left.

I was waiting for over ten minutes on a Wednesday evening without anyone even coming to greet me much less take my drink order. I let the hostess know why I was leaving when I returned the food and drink menus. I went over to the Thai place located opposite this restaurant and was seated with my drink order placed in less than two minutes.

We came here for the first time today because our neighbor recommended Fennel Restaurant. Because it’s the weekend, they had the brunch menu. I had the shakshuka and my mom had the fried eggs with dates. The shakshuka was incredible! It was savory and spicy and the portion was huge. I loved it. My mom said her dish was excellent. Jesse, our server, was attentive, courteous and professional. The ambiance was bright, cheery, modern and spacious.
Everything was so good, we decided to come back and have dinner here. My mom had the burger and I had their barley soup. My soup was full of flavor. Our server was attentive and the ambience was warm. We will definitely come back for the brunch menu.
We came back the week after and had the chicken with waffles and the Mediterranean scramble. They were both incredible. Both dishes get a score of 5/5.
